Providing a safer environment for our guests and associates is a top priority. Achieving this is a shared responsibility. Please join us in our efforts to enhance the safety of our public spaces by complying with local regulations, being respectful of personal choices with regards to social distancing and the wearing of face coverings. We do appreciate your support and understanding.
A full spectrum of social distancing guidelines have been implemented throughout each property, including:

  • Altered traffic flow to support 6-foot spacing
  • Removed brochure racks
  • Removed unnecessary furnishings
  • Installation of signage across the property campus to remind Owners, guests, and associates of social distancing requirements.
  • Reduction of seating in common areas, such as lobbies
  • Closure of every other stall in common area restrooms
  • Limitations on occupancy in fitness centers and removal of certain equipment, where applicable.
  • Reductions in pool deck seating, where applicable
  • Continued closure of activities centers and kid's clubs. where applicable
In keeping with Our Next Level of Clean and Marriott's Commitment to Clean, we have made several enhancements to our cleaning practices throughout our property and accommodations. These include:

Enhanced Public Space Cleaning. With increased frequency and enhanced cleaning tools, you'll get a heightened level of clean and health safety throughout shared areas. You will find hand sanitizer stations at high-traffic public spaces like the lobby, front desk, elevator landings, food & beverage entrances and fitness center entrances.

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). All associates will wear PPE (e.g., face coverings, gloves, etc.) based on the activities they are performing and based on direction by the local authorities.

Electrostatic Spraying. We're utilizing enhanced technologies, including electrostatic sprayers with hospital-grade disinfectants, to support our already rigorous cleanliness protocols.

Your Clean Home Away from Home

All of your private vacation spaces now undergo an even more robust regimen of cleaning protocols.

  • Hospital-grade disinfectants are used in every villa/room, before every check-in.
  • Disinfectant wipes are available in the villa/room for every arriving guest as well as upon request.
  • Each villa/room is thoroughly cleaned and disinfected, with particular attention paid to high-touch surfaces, such as light switches, door handles, remote controls, countertops, climate controls, and appliance doors using hospital-grade disinfectants
  • Removal and replacement of all unused linen/terry from villas/rooms
  • Removal and replacement of all unused bathroom amenities, such as soap and shampoo
  • Removal and replacement of all opened paper products, such as toilet and facial tissues
  • In support of continued enhanced public area cleaning, enhanced villa/room departure cleans, and for the health and safety of property associates, daily housekeeping service, such as daily tidies, is currently unavailable.

Important Alerts
The Spanish government requires UK and other non-EU citizens traveling to Spain from the UK for tourism (excluding children under the age of 12 years old) to present on entry proof of being fully vaccinated (with both doses of a two-dose vaccine or one dose of a one-dose vaccine) at least 14 days prior to arrival in Spain (date(s) of vaccination must be specified), with a vaccine authorized by the European Medicines Agency or by the World Health Organisation. All passengers (including children under 12 years old) must complete and sign an online Health Control Form no more than 48 hours prior to travel. 

There are different entry requirements for EU citizens. See the Spanish Ministry of Health ‘Travel and COVID-19' page for details.

The Spanish government publishes and reviews their list of ‘risk countries' every 7 days. All passengers (excluding children under the age of 12 years old) traveling to Spain who have visited a ‘risk countries in the previous 14 days should be prepared to meet the requirements outlined in the Spanish Ministry of Health ‘Travel and COVID-19' page. Requirements are country specific.

 

Official Information 
Covid certificates may be required to access certain parts of the resort including, but not limited to, restaurants. From 24 December, the use of face coverings is mandatory for anyone over the age of 6 years old on all forms of public transport in Spain and in many other indoor and outdoor public spaces, even when social distancing of 1.5 metres is observed. You should carry a face mask with you at all times and be prepared to wear it during your stay. Face masks must cover the nose and mouth.

While not mandatory, the use of face masks on children between 3 and 5 years of age is recommended.

There are some exceptions to the use of face masks such as when practising sport, eating or drinking, or at the beach, however rules may vary between regions. Those with respiratory problems or those unable to wear a mask due to other health conditions or disabilities are exempt. More details are available from the Ministry for Health (in Spanish).

As specific rules on the use of face masks may vary from one region to the next, you should refer to local authorities for advice. Penalties may be imposed if you do not comply.
