Providing a safer environment for our guests and associates is a top priority. Consistent with the most recent CDC guidance, fully vaccinated guests are no longer required to wear face coverings or social distance in indoor or outdoor areas of the hotel, unless required by local law. We ask that unvaccinated guests continue to wear face coverings and practice social distancing when they are in public spaces inside the hotel.

‘Yellow-Level' Restrictions & ‘Blue-Level' Allowances 
Effective Saturday, April 10, 2021

Pitkin County and the City of Aspen are ‘Yellow' on the six-color, dial framework used to determine COVID-19 regulations. However, the St. Regis Aspen Resort is a part of the Five-Star Certification Program which allows the Resort to operate one color lower on the dial at the ‘Blue-Level.'  

‘Blue-Level' allowances are on a business-by-business basis. An outline of both restriction levels is below. 

City of Aspen & Pitkin County, Yellow-Level 


  • Indoor Dining 
    • Permitted to operate at 50% capacity or (150) people 
    • Ten (10) people per table maximum & up to two (2) households permitted. 
    • Tables remain 6ft apart
    • Last call for alcohol sales in Aspen is 1:00 am
  • Outdoor Dining 
    • No capacity limits at this time, but tables must remain 6ft apart
    • Last call for alcohol sales in Aspen is 1:00 am
  • Bars remain closed  
  • Take-out, curbside, delivery and outdoor dining remain available 



  • Only members from the same household may share a unit/guest room 


Face Coverings/Masks 

  • Required while in all indoor public areas and in outdoor public areas when not able to maintain 6ft apart from another person who is not of the same household. 


Gyms & Fitness Centers 

  • May operate at 50% capacity or up to (50) people

St. Regis Aspen Resort, Blue-Level  


  • Indoor & Outdoor Dining 
    • Permitted to operate at 100% capacity  
    • Tables remain 6ft apart
    • Last call for alcohol sales at the Resort is 2:00 am
  • Bars
    • May operate at 25% capacity or up to (75) people 



  • Only members from the same household may share a unit/guest room 


Face Coverings/Masks 

  • Required while in all indoor public areas and in outdoor public areas when not able to maintain 6ft apart from another person who is not of the same household.

Every guest room is thoroughly cleaned and disinfected between each guest. We will continue to provide housekeeping services daily while you are away from the room. If you have any specific housekeeping preferences or would like to not receive housekeeping service during your stay, please contact guest services at any time. Please note: Guests are not to be in the room during guest services such as daily housekeeping or engineering requests.


  • Minibars: A QR code is provided and our guests may order from in-room dining
  • Guests may utilize in-room coffee machines which are sanitized between each guest
  • Each guest room is equipped with sanitizing wipes.

**The St. Regis Aspen Resort will have its regular, seasonal closure from April 19th - May 12th**

During this seasonal closure, the Remede Spa and Fitness Center will remain open and operating, with a confirmed spa service reservation, during the days and hours listed below.

Upon re-opening on May 13th, the Resort will provide amenities and services under the ‘Blue-Level' guidelines listed here: 
Fitness Center: Open & monitored 6:00 am - 9:00 pm with equipment sanitized between each use. Masks must be worn and are required while utilizing the fitness facility.


Remede Spa: Massages, body treatments, facial & nail services are available in Remède Spa, daily, from 9:00 am - 9:00 pm. Whirlpools, plunge pools, steam caves, & the confluence pool are available with social distancing. Please note that guests may only have access to spa amenities in conjunction with a scheduled spa treatment.


St. Regis Rituals:

  • Bloody Mary Ritual, Daily, 11:00 am - Noon 
  • Champagne Sabering Ritual, Daily, 5:15 pm



Upon reopening on May 13th, the Resort will provide its food and beverage offerings under ‘Blue-Level' restrictions. In accordance with those regulations, indoor and outdoor dining can operate at 100% capacity, but tables will remain 6ft apart.

Skiing & Snowboarding
Lift tickets / Group Ski Lessons

One lift ticket can be used at Aspen, Aspen Highlands, Buttermilk, and Snowmass Mountains. Advance purchase of lift tickers and lessons (group and private) are essential and can be made by visiting aspensnowmass.com/stregisaspen. We strongly encourage you to reserve online in advance and select St Regis Hotel as your delivery option. Your tickets will then be waiting for you at the hotel Front Desk. This will eliminate any need to line up at the ticket office.

Ski/Snowboard Rentals
Aspen Sports - located at The St. Regis Aspen Resort

We encourage you to reserve your ski/snowboard rentals online & in advance through Aspen Sports at rentskis.com/stregis. By doing so, this secures pricing up to a 25% discount. If you reserve rental equipment in advance and visit Aspen Sports once you are at the Resort, pricing is subject to availability. If you decide to wait until your arrival for exploring equipment availability & pricing, please visit the Concierge an Aspen Sports discount card up to 20% off.

Fly Fishing
Aspen Outfitting Company offers fly-fishing trips on the valley's gold medal trout waters. No experience required. Includes a guide, transportation, beverages, rods, reels, waders, and boots.

Hot Air Ballooning
Soar above Aspen at dawn in a hot air balloon. Sunrise rides show you breathtaking views of the Aspen/Snowmass area.

Paraglide high over Aspen and its surrounding valleys. Tandem flights leave from the top of Aspen Mountain.


Cross Country Skiing  

Enjoy groomed track skiing through beautiful meadows and valleys. Instruction and rentals are located at the Aspen Cross Country Center or at the Ashcroft Ski Touring area.

Sleigh Rides  

Enjoy a horse-drawn sleigh to a log cabin for lunch or dinner.

Ice Skating 

The Silver Circle Ice Rink located next to the hotel offers outdoor public skating. The Aspen Recreation Center, outside of Aspen also offer public skating


Enjoy the excitement and beauty of a snowmobile tour to the Maroon Bells or the Lenado area.


Whether exercise or scenery suits your fancy, private snowshoe guides can introduce you to the beautiful surroundings of Aspen. Two-hour snowshoe tours guided by an ACES (Aspen Center for Environmental Studies) Naturalist are available on top of Aspen or Snowmass Mountains. Mountain tours start at 10:00 AM & 1:00 PM, includes a gondola foot pass, snowshoe equipment, guide & snack.


Remede Spa is available for services and treatments, daily, from 9:00 am - 9:00 pm.

We want to assure you that the safety, health, and well-being of our guests and associates is our top priority, and has been our main consideration in reopening the spa. To ensure that you feel comfortable and at ease during your treatment, we have implemented additional health and safety protocols. Please take a moment to familiarize yourself with these prior to your arrival.

Guests should review state and local governmental orders and guidance to confirm eligibility to travel.

During Your Visit

  • Your service provider and supporting spa associates will wear a face covering before, during and after your treatments.
  • Please arrive at least 15 minutes prior to the start of your appointment; we encourage all guests to shower prior to the start of their treatments.
  • During check in guests will be asked to complete an updated health questionnaire prior to entering the spa.
  • Please bring a face covering to wear during your visit to the spa. For your convenience, if you are unable to bring your own, one will be provided for you to wear while you are in the spa and all public areas in or around the hotel.
  • Pitkin County requires face masks in all Zone 2 areas
  • The temperature of our spa associates will be checked by a contactless thermometer upon their arrival to the hotel.
  • For the health and safety of other guests and our associates, any guest with a temperature above 100.4°F will need to cancel their appointment and reschedule for a later date.
  • Any service which requires rescheduling will not be charged to the guest at this time.
  • Hand sanitizer will be readily available for you to use during your time in the spa.
  • The whirlpools, plunge pools and confluence pool are available while maintaining social distancing - 2 people in whirlpool; 1 person in plunge pool; 6 people in confluence pool.

Spa Etiquette

  • Social distancing protocols will apply and be enforced in all public spa areas.
  • Each treatment has been scheduled to allow additional time between guests so that the treatment spaces can be deeply cleaned.
  • In accordance with state and local rules, once your service is complete we kindly request that you exit the spa at your earliest convenience.
