Looking for our 2-year old Bernese Mountain Dog, Kitty? Kitty is not at the hotel every day and his schedule varies, but you can usually find him in the Fountain Courtyard during the Bloody Mary Ritual or at the Champagne Sabering. We invite you to inquire with one of our hosts to see if he is at the hotel!

Champagne Sabering in the Fountain Courtyard
Each day the resort honors the St. Regis ritual of champagne sabering at 5:15 pm to celebrate the transition from day to night as John Jacob Astor IV started when he founded the first St. Regis Hotel in New York in 1904. This ritual is extended to resort guests and includes a complimentary glass of champagne. If weather does not permit the ritual to take place in the Fountain Courtyard, it will occur in the Front Drive.
