Providing a safer environment for our guests and associates is a top priority. Achieving this is a shared responsibility. Please join us in our efforts to enhance the safety of our public spaces by complying with local regulations, practicing social distancing and wearing face coverings whenever you're in indoor public areas of the hotel. We do appreciate your support and understanding.

Our hygiene and health measures are in line with UAE government advice and safety standards.

The regulations implemented at the hotel include:


  • In accordance with Abu Dhabi government regulations, only those who have been vaccinated and have Al Hosn Green Pass are permitted entry to hotel facilities.
  • Thermal scanners checking the temperature of all guests at the main hotel entrance.
  • Contactless and mobile check-in with touch-free payment options.
  • Hand sanitizing stations available at multiple locations, including all entry and exit points.
  • Provision of PPE gear and mandatory use by all staff and guests.
  • Social distancing markers throughout the hotel.
  • Daily misting of sanitizing solutions.
  • COVID-19 testing for all employees.

Before arrival, each guest bedroom is deep cleaned, sanitized and sealed for protection. Guests can be assured that their room has been sealed via a sealing sticker used across the door edge.

In keeping with Marriott's Commitment to Clean, we have made several enhancements to our cleaning practices throughout our property and in guest rooms. These include:

Enhanced Public Space Cleaning: We have increased the frequency of cleaning and disinfection, particularly in areas with high traffic including restrooms and elevators, as well as access to hand sanitizing stations.

Daily Misting: We are running daily disinfections of all major hotel areas via sanitization misting.

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): Staff members are required to wear PPE gear whilst performing their activities. Guests are welcome to wear personal face coverings.

Employee Testing: All hotel staff are tested for COVID-19 to ensure a controlled and safe environment for our guests.

Property Signage: Marriott Al Forsan follows local government advice by ensuring safety signage is clearly visible in all guest areas. this includes floor markers to remind guests of safe distancing.

Protected Interactions: Our breakfast buffet and main check-in desk have barriers to separate guests from hotel employees. We have also ensured that check-in options, bookings, payments, menus and all potential touch points are contactless.

Monitoring: Thermal scanners are in place at all main entrances, scanning the temperature of guests upon entering the property.

Every guest room is thoroughly cleaned and disinfected prior to your arrival. We will provide housekeeping cleaning services after your third night with us and while you are away from the room. If you’d like to receive additional daily cleaning, simply let our team know and we will gladly take care of it.

We are committed to making the amenities and services at our property available to you while complying with local regulations, including guidance on reducing capacity in public spaces and reinforcing social distancing.

The modifications we have made include:

Fitness Center: Open with safety measures in place and masks required.
Swimming Pool: Open with limited capacity and social distancing.

All restaurants and bars at Marriott Hotel Al Forsan are open, excluding cocktail lounge Couture. Signature steakhouse The Grill, sports bar Appaloosa, all-day dining Khayal, Splash poolside bar and the Lobby Lounge are all operating under strict safety policies. These policies include social distancing, limited capacity, limited table capacities, contactless menus (via a QR code system) and a la carte options.
