Providing a safer environment for our guests and associates is a top priority. Achieving this is a shared responsibility. Please join us in our efforts to enhance the safety of our public spaces by complying with local regulations, practicing social distancing and wearing face coverings whenever you're in indoor public areas of the hotel. We do appreciate your support and understanding.
  • We have placed respective signage throughout the resort related to all local authorities' regulations and guidelines for safety and compliance.
  • Thermo-cameras for temperature check have been placed in hotel guest and associates entrance.
  • Floor and elevator stickers are clearly reminding all guests to maintain social distancing.
  • Sanitization stations with masks are present and provided in all public areas, restaurants and bar, exercise room etc.
  • All restaurants and bars have revised seating capacities in addition to maximum dining time of 3 hours and as per local regulations.
  • Menus are available via QR codes.
  • Maximum table capacity is 4 people at a time.
  • Buffet service is not permitted as per local authorities and therefore breakfast and brunch are served directly to the table.
  • Fitness Centre is following local authority guidelines of operation.
  • Hand sanitizer stations are available in all high traffic areas and tables.
  • Partitions have been installed at front desk, Concierge and food service counters.
  • Valet parking is currently not offered, however parking space is available at the hotel at no fee.
  • We encourage the use the Mobile Chat option of the Marriott Bonvoy App for contactless communication and requests.
  • Guest Service team will also be happy to assist you upon check-out and send you your invoice directly in the app.
  • Luggage assistance is available on request.
  • Swimming pool access follows all local authority regulations and sunbeds are cleaned and sanitized after each use.

As part of Marriott's "Commitment to Clean" protocol, Al Wathba, a Luxury Collection Desert Resort & Spa is delighted to inform you about several enhancements to our cleaning practices.

Enhanced Public Space Cleaning: We have increased the frequency of cleaning and disinfection, particularly in areas with high traffic including restrooms, elevators, front desk, elevators, public bathrooms and guest room keys. In addition, hand sanitizer stations are provided throughout the resort.

Housekeeping services: Every guest room is thoroughly cleaned and disinfected between each guest. We will continue to provide housekeeping services daily while you are away from the room. If you have any specific housekeeping preferences or would like to not receive housekeeping service during your stay, please contact guest services at any time.

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): All hosts wear PPE including face masks and gloves as well as additional PPE based on the activities they are performing and in adherence with local authorities.

Electrostatic Spraying: We're utilizing enhanced technologies, including electrostatic sprayers with hospital-grade disinfectants, to support our already rigorous cleanliness protocols.

Room Sealing: All clean, sanitized and disinfected rooms are sealed immediately after service and before next arrival

  • Minibars - Sanitized and sealed and will be available only upon request.
  • Magazines and Books have been removed from rooms
  • Coffee machines & kettles are sanitized for your safety. Contactless coffee delivery available upon request.
Additional changes and modifications applying as per local authority safety and cleanliness guidelines include:

Restaurants: Reduced capacity, advance booking required. Time limitations to assist with capacity regulations.

Fitness Center: Currently open with reduced capacity and no advance booking required. Time limit for work out may apply during peak times for better service and safety reasons. Cleaning and sanitization takes place regularly. Face masks provided and required.

Swimming Pool: Currently open with reduced capacity and social distancing regulations applying. Each sunbed is cleaned and sanitized after use. Implemented guidelines on chemicals and equipment to sanitize all facilities.

Saray Spa: Open daily with reduced capacity. Advance reservation is recommended.

We are delighted to share with you that most of our restaurants and bars are open. For the latest opening timings, please visit our hotel website. For your convenience, digital menus are available in all restaurants. A physical menu can be used upon request. We recommend to reserve a table in advance due to limited capacity of the restaurants. In addition, we encourage you to use contactless payments methods. Food delivery will be available to our rooms, suites and villas through in room dining service. A contactless delivery to your room is possible upon request.

 

All our restaurants and bars are complying with cleanliness and safety guidelines and requirements and as per local authority regulations. Digital menus are available in all areas. We strongly recommend the use of contactless payments or credit/debit card payments. Advance booking or reservation is required.

Bait Al Hanine: Open for breakfast
Terra Secca: Open for lunch and dinner
Al Mesayan: Open from afternoon to late night for drinks and bar menu
Panache Pool Bar: Open daily for meals, drinks and snacks
Hayakoom: Remains closed until further notice
Al Mabeet Desert Camp: Remains closed until further notice
