Providing a safer environment for our guests and associates is a top priority. Achieving this is a shared responsibility. Please join us in our efforts to enhance the safety of our public spaces by complying with local regulations, being respectful of personal choices with regards to social distancing and the wearing of face coverings. We do appreciate your support and understanding.
Signage placed in lobby, lift landings and outside restaurants instructing guests to maintain social distance. Signage regarding maximum capacities, disinfection of hands have been placed at regular intervals in all public areas. Footstep stickers placed in front of reception, restaurants and at Poolside to ensure social distance. Plastic guard placed at MEA and MH Receptions. "Clean Room" paper sticker placed on all sanitized room for guests to break open when they enter the room. Signage floor stickers placed in all elevators to ensure distance between occupants. No valet service is currently available and direction signage is placed at all basement levels for guest parking.
In keeping with Marriott's Commitment to Clean, we have substantially increased our cleaning practices in all pubic areas, restaurants and guest rooms. Frequency of cleanliness of the public restrooms, elevators and public areas has increased by a cleaning procedure every 2 hours. All guest facing Staff Members wear face masks at all times while all restaurant staff wear gloves and masks at all times. This is keeping with the rules and regulations of the local health authorities of Abu Dhabi. Rooms are sanitized with enhanced technologies such as Electrostatic spray and steam machines All rooms are provided with Sanitized wipes while all flyers , menus etc are no digitalized with QR codes. Contactless payments are recommended at restaurants too.
Every guest room is thoroughly cleaned and disinfected prior to your arrival. We will provide housekeeping cleaning services after your third night with us and while you are away from the room. If you’d like to receive additional daily cleaning, simply let our team know and we will gladly take care of it.
In keeping with the update of rules and regulations by the local health authorities, the following services and amenities are available for guest use-
Fitness Centre- Open, masks required at all times
Swimming Pool- Open, distance to kept inside the pool
Lounges- Open, masks required with limited capacity

We at the Marriott Hotel Downtown Abu Dhabi are progression in a phase by phase opening of our outlets.

Please note below the outlets that are open:


  • Central Grounds: Open from 6.30 am until 7pm
  • Velocity: Open from 3pm until 10pm, longer on Game Nights

Signage for maximum capacity of guests is placed outside each restaurant. Social distancing stickers placed at reception of each outlet with sanitization stations and contactless payment signage. Takeaway allowed with Disclaimer sticker on boxes.
