Providing a safer environment for our guests and associates is a top priority. Achieving this is a shared responsibility. Please join us in our efforts to enhance the safety of our public spaces by complying with local regulations and wearing a face covering - which is required - whenever you're in public areas of the hotel. We do appreciate your support and understanding. We remind you also to practice social distancing, staying at least 6 feet or 2 meters from other guests and hotel associates.

In compliance with local and brand standards, Renaissance Asheville has worked hard to ensure guest safety by implementing high standards of cleanliness. Signage and markers are placed throughout the hotel to remind guests to maintain social distancing.

 

All guests and employees of the hotel are required to wear a mask in all public areas, occupancy limits and seating capacities reductions have been put in place in our breakfast area, meeting rooms, and fitness center in compliance with local and state mandates including having only two people in the elevator at a time.

 

Plexiglass dividers have been installed at front desks, credit card terminals out front for guest to insert their credit card without handling from staff, guest room keys and pens are sanitized upon use and mobile check-in/checkout is encouraged.

In keeping with Marriott's Commitment to Clean, we have made several enhancements to our cleaning practices throughout our property and in guest rooms. These include:

Enhanced Public Space Cleaning: Sanitizer stations have been placed throughout the hotel in high traffic areas. We have increased the frequency of cleaning in all high traffic areas such as the front desk, restrooms and elevators, and fitness center. Bell carts are sanitized after each use, and brochures, collateral, and newspapers have all been removed.

Guestrooms: Our housekeeping staff is currently not servicing stay-over guestrooms unless requested. Glassware and unnecessary loose collateral such as notepads have been removed from all rooms and are available upon request. Housekeepers to sanitize their shoes before entering a guestroom.

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) : Staff members will wear PPE (e.g., face coverings, gloves, etc.) based on the activities they are performing and based on direction by the local authorities. Guests are required to wear personal face coverings in public spaces. Masks are provided on request at the front desk.

Electrostatic Spraying: We're utilizing enhanced technologies, including electrostatic sprayers with hospital-grade disinfectants, to support our already rigorous cleanliness protocols.

Every guest room is thoroughly cleaned and disinfected prior to your arrival. During your stay, we will not provide housekeeping automatically every day. If you wish to receive daily housekeeping refresh service, please let our guest services team know. We will be happy to schedule service according to your preferences. Please note that if you are staying with us a bit longer, we will automatically clean your guest room after every 5th night.

We are committed to making the amenities and services at our property available to you while complying with local regulations, including guidance on reducing capacity in public spaces and reinforcing social distancing. The modifications we have made include:

Fitness Center: The fitness center will be wiped down hourly, sanitizer bottles are provided for guest and must reserve a time for use of the fitness center.
Pool: Pool will be checked every hour and wiped down with sanitizer on touch surfaces

Renaissance Asheville's restaurant "Writer's Bistro" is currently open to guests on the patio 5:00pm-11:00 pm, and we offer breakfast each morning in Writer's Bistro from 7am-10am
