Hotel Information

Providing a safer environment for our guests and associates is a top priority. Achieving this is a shared responsibility. Please join us in our efforts to enhance the safety of our public spaces by complying with local regulations, practicing social distancing (staying at least 6 feet or 2 meters from other guests and hotel associates), and wearing face coverings whenever you're in public areas of the hotel. We do appreciate your support and understanding.
  • Signage has been installed throughout the hotel to remind guests to maintain social distancing, occupancy limits and seating capacities reduction in our restaurant, gym and spa areas in accordance with local government guidance.
  • Partitions have been installed at front desks and food service counters.
  • Following our local sanitary recommendations, the use of face masks is required in all Hotel's public areas.
  • All of the precautions are subject to change with updated government guidance


Marriott Bonvoy members have the opportunity to use the Marriott Bonvoy™ mobile app to take advantage of contactless options, including:

 

  • Mobile Check-In to reduce the amount of time required to complete check-in formalities. ID to be presented at Front Desk on arrival.
  • Mobile Check-Out to skip the desk. You will receive a digital copy of your invoice by email.
  • Contactless experience by requesting Mobile Key. Your phone is your key.
  • Mobile Chat and Mobile guest requests to communicate with us from anywhere at any time. Mobile chat is available from 48h hours before the day of arrival, up to 24 hours after your departure.

In keeping with Marriott's Commitment to Clean, we have notice made several enhancements to our cleaning practices throughout our property and in guest rooms. These include:

Enhanced Public Space Cleaning: We have increased the frequency of cleaning and disinfection, particularly in high-traffic areas like restrooms, elevators and staircase. We also provide hand sanitizing stations within the public spaces.


Hotel Associates: We have increased associate health, safety and knowledge efforts, including hand hygiene protocols and specific COVID-19 related trainings. Staff members will wear PPE (e.g., face coverings, gloves, etc.) based on the activities they are performing and based on direction by the local authorities.


Electrostatic Spraying: We're utilizing enhanced technologies, including electrostatic sprayers with hospital-grade disinfectants, to support our already rigorous cleanliness protocols.


Room Amenities:

  • Minibars - Sanitized and sealed and will be available only upon request.
  • In-room coffee makers & kettles are sanitized for your safety.
  • Disinfectant wipes are available in the room for every arriving guest as well as upon request.
  • Books, newspapers and non-essential collateral have been removed from rooms and public areas. Please connect to our Wifi network and download the Press Reader app to enjoy world press.

Housekeeping Service:
To respond to our already high standards around health and cleanliness, we have taken extra precautions to clean and sanitize your room before your arrival. We will continue to provide housekeeping services daily while you are away from the room. If you prefer not to get housekeeping services, please contact us during your stay by contacting Service (0), send us a message via the Marriott Bonvoy App, Mobile Chat (before/during a stay), or meet us at check-in.

We are committed to making the amenities and services at our property available to you while complying with local regulations, including guidance on reducing capacity in public spaces and reinforcing social distancing. The modifications we have made include:

Fitness Centre: Open from 7.00 am to 9.00 pm.

  • Access to the Gym is upon reservation at the Front Desk or through Marriott Bonvoy™ mobile app.
  • Max. 1 person allowed at a time.
  • After each session a slot of 30 minutes will be reserved to refresh and clean the space.


Explore Spa Studio: Our Spa terrace is open from 10am to 9pm.

  • Reservations for massages should be made in advance at guest.barcelona@lemeridien.com or using your chat in the Marriott Bonvoy™ mobile app.
  • All massages will be conducted only on the back of the body with the guest facing downwards.
  • You should bring your own towels from the bedroom or ask at the reception.
  • Vitality bath, Sauna, Hamman and lockers are not operational.


Parking: No valet service is currently available.

Modified operational practices for in-room dining, no self-service buffets, all food handlers trained on safe food preparation and service practices, and self and independent audits in accordance with food safety standards as guidelines.

 

  • Cleaning and disinfecting protocols are in place to sanitize tables and chairs after depart and before next guest arrives.
  • Air conditioning follows all the protocols to reduce the risk of infection.
  • Restaurant, bar and room service menus have been replaced by QR codes.
