As part of the Marriott Brand chain, we are committed to hygiene in all aspects. We implemented new standards and protocols to insure your safety due to COVID-19 pandemic while keeping with our high standards of service.

We have adjusted the way we do things starting with the service and amenities to the facilities during your time with us.

Here is what you need to know during your stay at The Westin Cairo Resort & Spa Katameya Dunes.

In keeping with Marriott's Commitment to Clean, we have made several enhancements to our cleaning practices throughout our property and in guest rooms. These include:


Associates related measures:

  • All associates wears face masks with no exception. All associates work with their hands wear cloves. All hotel surfaces are sanitized every hour including the high touch points.

Public areas:

  • Sanitizers are available everywhere inside the hotel, including restaurants, bars and reception.
  • All bags are sanitized upon arrival and al public areas of the property in disinfected every hour.

Guest rooms:

  • All guest rooms are sanitized and cleaned frequently and left for 48 hours between the next guest.
  • Part of being green, cleanliness is done after two nights except if the guest request getting it daily.

Restaurants and Bars:

  • Sanitizers are always available on all tables.
  • All menus are available through QR Codes for contactless ordering.

Fitness Center:

  • Sanitizers are available always inside the gym upon arrival and available between machines.
  • Machines are cleaned and sanitized after each use.
We are committed to making the amenities and services at our property available to you while complying with local regulations, including guidance on reducing capacity in public spaces and reinforcing social distancing. The modifications we have made include:

Associates related measures:
  • Masks are provided for the associates in each associates entry gate
  • Checking the temperature is required for all associates

Public areas:
  • Face masks are provided on the property entrance for those who don't have one
  • Checking the temperature is required for all guests
  • One time use pen is provided to the guest at the front desk

Guest rooms:
  • The property is providing sanitizing wipes and face masks as part of the room amenities.

Restaurants and Bars:
  • All of the restaurants and bars are open with high level of measures.

Fitness center:
  • Masks are required upon arrival
Paloma Restaurant: Open for Breakfast from 06:30 AM to 11:00 AM, for Lunch from 12:00 PM to 03:00 PM and for dinner from 06:00 PM to 10:30 PM

Dunes Bar: Open every day from 07:00 AM to 11:59 PM
