Providing a safer environment for our guests and associates is a top priority. Achieving this is a shared responsibility. Please join us in our efforts to enhance the safety of our public spaces by complying with local regulations, practicing social distancing and wearing face coverings whenever you're in indoor public areas of the hotel. We do appreciate your support and understanding.

For you stay at the Cologne Marriott Hotel, the current governmental regulations require the following documents together with an identification document with photo (identity card, passport).

 

Business purpose:

 

•    Vaccinated - proof of a complete vaccination against COVID-19 completed at least 14 days prior to your arrival date at the hotel, by presentation of the vaccination certificate with a vaccine licensed in the European Union (currently BioNTech, Moderna, Astra Zeneca, Johnson & Johnson).
•    Recovered - proof of a positive test result (PCR, PoC-PCR) at least 28 days and not more than six months ago prior to your arrival date at the hotel. Or proof of a positive test result (PCR, PoC-PCR) older than 6 months prior to your arrival date at the hotel in combination with proof of at least one vaccine dose against COVID-19 with a vaccine approved in the European Union (currently BioNTech, Moderna, Astra Zeneca, Johnson & Johnson) administered at least 14 days prior to your arrival date.
•    Tested - proof of a negative PCR or rapid test, which is not older than 24 hours (rapid test) or 48 hours (PCR) at the time of your check in at the hotel. This test must be proven by a digital or written document from a testing centre. Follow-up tests must be presented independently after expiry at the reception.

 

Leisure purpose:
 

If you would like to visit our hotel for leisure reasons you need to be vaccinated or recovered.
 

•    Vaccinated - proof of a complete vaccination against COVID-19 completed at least 14 days prior to your arrival date at the hotel, by presentation of the vaccination certificate with a vaccine licensed in the European Union (currently BioNTech, Moderna, Astra Zeneca, Johnson & Johnson).
•    Recovered - proof of a positive test result (PCR, PoC-PCR) at least 28 days and not more than six months ago prior to your arrival date at the hotel. Or proof of a positive test result (PCR, PoC-PCR) older than 6 months prior to your arrival date at the hotel in combination with proof of at least one vaccine dose against COVID-19 with a vaccine approved in the European Union (currently BioNTech, Moderna, Astra Zeneca, Johnson & Johnson) administered at least 14 days prior to your arrival date.

 

According to German regulations children under 15 years need a proof of a negative PCR or rapid test, which is not older than 24 hours (rapid test) or 48 hours (PCR) at the time of check in at the hotel. This his regulation is valid until 9th January. 


Private meetings for immunized persons are only permitted:
• within the own household
• or maximum 10 persons without limitation of  number of households, except children up to 13 years
 

 Don't forget to check the entry and quarantine regulations if you are planning to visit us from outside of Germany. 


Please note that you need to wear a face mask in all public areas of the hotel. Signage throughout our hotels reminds guests to maintain social distancing, occupancy limits and seating capacities reductions in our restaurant in compliance with local and state mandates, and partitions installed at front desks and food and beverage service lines.

Commitment to Clean

We take hygiene and cleanliness standards very seriously. In keeping with Marriott's Commitment to Clean, you'll notice several enhancements to our practices throughout the entire hotel which include: Enhanced Public Space and Guest Room Cleaning, Social Distancing Practices, Use of Masks for all associates and the addition of Electrostatic Spraying to our cleaning protocols.
 
Enhanced Public Space Cleaning. We have increased the frequency of cleaning and disinfection, particularly in areas with high traffic including restrooms, elevators, and escalators as well as provided more hand sanitizing stations.

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Staff members will wear PPE (e.g., face coverings, gloves, etc.) based on the activities they are performing and based on direction by the local authorities.

We wear because we care - and we require all guests to do the same. The proper use of masks / face coverings is mandatory in all public areas of the hotel.

 


Every guest room is thoroughly cleaned and disinfected prior to your arrival. We will provide daily housekeeping cleaning services while you are away from the room. If you would like to modify your housekeeping schedule, please contact us during your stay.
We are committed to making the amenities and services at our property available to you while complying with local regulations, including guidance on reducing capacity in public spaces and reinforcing social distancing. The modifications we have made include:
 
•    Executive Lounge: Breakfast is served in our Cast Iron | Grill Restaurant. The Executive Lounge on the 6th floor is open Mondays - Saturdays from 16:00 - 22:00 with Service (snack time) from 17:30 - 20:30. On Sundays, the snack hour will take place in our PLÜSCH Bar & Lounge from 17:30 - 20:30. Please be advised that you need to be vaccinated or recovered to get access to the Executive Lounge. 
•    Health Club: Open 24h, due to the governmental COVID 19 regulations the Health Club can only be used with a vaccination certificate or proof of recovery and a PCR or rapid test. Please register and present your documents at the reception. Currently there is a max. of 6 people allowed in the Health Club
•    Sauna: Closed
 

Please be advised that you need to be vaccinated or recovered to get access to our restaurant and bar. Please have your vaccination certificate or proof of recovery ready together with your ID. External guests also need a negative PCR or rapid test.

 

BREAKFAST
Breakfast is served in our Cast Iron Grill Restaurant 
Monday - Friday: 6:30 AM - 10:30 AM
Saturday & Sunday: 7:00 AM - 11:00 AM
Throughout the restaurant and buffet, guidance systems point our guests to keep social distancing and respect hygiene guidelines. Please be advised that you need to be vaccinated or recovered to enjoy your breakfast in our restaurant.
 
LUNCH & DINNER
Lunch and Dinner will be served in our PLUESCH Bar & Lounge from Monday - Sunday from 12:00 PM - 3:00 PM and 5:30 PM - 12:00 PM
Please be advised that you need to be vaccinated or recovered to visit the bar.
 
IN-ROOM DINING
We are happy to deliver your favorite dishes, right to your room door. Room service is at your disposal for any orders between 6:30AM - 11 PM.
