Providing a safer environment for our guests and associates is a top priority. Achieving this is a shared responsibility.  Please join us in our efforts to continue to enhance the safety of our public spaces by complying with local regulations, practicing social distancing (staying at least 6 feet or 2 meters from other guests and hotel associates).  We appreciate your support and understanding.
  • In order to comply with the mandatory social distancing (2 m) at all times, we are reducing the capacity in public areas.
  • Guests will be provided with all important information regarding the virus, as well as the hygiene and safety measures we are taking for spread prevention.


We consider the arrival and registration process of our guests to be very important and have therefore included various prevention measures:

  • A temperature screening will be performed upon entry and exit to anyone visiting the hotel.
  • We will make sure that all guests have the necessary Personal Protective Equipment. Information on the matter will be sent in the pre-arrival email.
  • Footwear disinfectant elements will be provided.
  • Special baggage disinfection will be carried out.
  • During check-in, greetings will only be made through visual contact keeping social distancing.
  • We have implemented tougher and specialized cleaning and disinfection protocols for rooms, public areas and back of the house, with special attention to articles and areas where there is a high level of contact. At the end of our guest's stay, a room recuperation protocol will be executed to sanitize all areas and articles within it.
  • The frequency and schedule of the room cleaning service will be coordinated in advance with the guests in order to minimize contact.
  • Sanitation stations will be implemented in strategic and visible areas in the hotel. Their constant use will be encouraged.
  • We have increased the frequency of cleaning and disinfection in public areas and back of the house. In addition, we are incorporating state-of-the-art cleaning equipment such as Victory electrostatic sprayers, in order to strengthen our procedures. Among the amenities of the room, guests will find disposable disinfectant wipes. Also we have in room coffee makers and minibar under request.

Every guest room is thoroughly cleaned and disinfected between each guest.  We will continue to provide housekeeping services daily while you are away from the room. If you have any specific housekeeping preferences or would like to not receive housekeeping service during your stay, please contact guest services at any time.

We have taken in consideration that many countries are requesting a negative result of the COVID-19 test for passengers who return to their country or arrive there as a final destination.

For this reason, for all those passengers who need to take the test, Tambo del Inka, a Luxury Collection Resort & Spa team will be happy to put you in contact with a medical clinic and schedule an appointment there or at the hotel.

Given that the time to obtain the results of the tests may vary, we recommend to check the requirements of the country of origin or destination to be able to arrange it in advance. Our team will be happy to assist you; the safety of our guests and associates is significant to us.


Starting April 15th, 2022, in order to access the hotel, a set of requirements must be met in accordance to the local regulation D.S. N°30-2022-PCM, Art. 4 ítem 4.8

"All visitors over 18 years old who are entering closed spaces in the hotel or restaurants must present their physical or virtual vaccination card that show proof of completing three doses of COVID-19 vaccine".
