Providing a safer environment for our guests and associates is a top priority. Achieving this is a shared responsibility. Please join us in our efforts to enhance the safety of our public spaces by complying with local regulations, practicing social distancing (staying at least 6 feet or 2 meters from other guests and hotel associates), and wearing face coverings whenever you're in public areas of the hotel. We do appreciate your support and understanding.

Signage throughout the hotel with the required social distancing as mandated by the government from the point of entry, to the elevator occupancy limits. Restaurant seating capacities have been modified with reductions of tables and chairs as well as our meeting and conference facilities. Front desks and Food & Beverage and Laundry shop have partitions with protective plexi glass and service lines.

Mobile check - in, service requests, and room service delivered to your door via Marriott Bonvoy mobile app and GXP.

Cashless transactions by use of mobile money and credit cards.

Contactless menus in food and beverage outlets using the QR code scan.

Repositioning of passport scanners and PDQ machines to guest facing side in all points of sale.

In line with the commitment to clean practices, we have made the following adjustments to cleanliness and hygiene throughout the property. These include:

 

  • Increased frequency of cleaning and disinfecting of public spaces, high traffic areas and rest rooms i.e. elevators, stair rails, doors, faucets.
  • Eliminated the use of table linen and cloth napkins in all restaurants with exception of banquets.
  • Installation of hand sanitizing stations in all high traffic areas including elevator landings and introduction of handwashing stations at the hotel entrances.
  • All associates are required to wear appropriate PPE (e.g. face shields, gloves, masks ) and all guests are also required to have face masks. Temperature screening is mandatory for everyone entering the hotel.
  • Still awaiting the delivery of electrostatic sprayers for use in public areas and event venues.
  • Minibars cleared from guest rooms and contactless delivery available on request.
  • Placement of antibacterial wipes and mini sanitizers in all guest rooms.
  • Withdrawal of blankets, bath sheets and loose cushions from all guest rooms. These items can be delivered upon request.
  • Hygiene posters placed in all Associate areas in the hotel to encourage compliance with hygiene measures put in place.


Every guest room is thoroughly cleaned and disinfected prior to your arrival. We will provide housekeeping cleaning services after your third night with us and while you are away from the room. If you'd like to receive additional daily cleaning, simply let our team know and we will gladly take care of it.

The following amenities and services at our property are available to you while complying with local regulations, including guidance on reducing capacity in public spaces and reinforcing social distancing. The modifications we have made include:


Fitness Center: Closed as per local government directives.
Spa: Closed as per local government directives.
Tennis Court: Open on request with social distancing for company.
Squash Court: Open on request with social distancing for company.
Shuttle: Operating on request with cleaning and disinfection. Sanitizer, temperature gun, anti bacterial wipes and glass guard installed in the vehicles.
Lounge: Closed
Restaurants: opened with limited hours due to government curfew and masks required on entry.
Room Service: Contactless delivery with limited hours.
Meetings and Events: Open with social distancing and face coverings required. Reservation also required. Guest etiquette SOP attached to reservations for awareness.
In- house Laundry: handled with PPEs and contactless delivery.

In all the outlets and kitchens the chefs wear face masks at all times and disposable gloves when handling ready to eat foods. Food and Beverage service staff also wear face masks and shields throughout their shift.

Increased cleaning and disinfection frequency in all kitchens and in restaurants this is done on all surfaces i.e. tables, chairs and condiments after every cover. No offering of single serve fruits such as apples, pears in the property.

Placement of hand sanitizers on all restaurant tables and meeting venues.

Meetings spaces: Open while observing social distance and enhanced hygiene.

Takeaway / delivery services available through local apps and direct pickup from the hotel i.e. Jumia.

Outside catering services with social distancing enforced.
