Providing a safer environment for our guests and associates is a top priority. Achieving this is a shared responsibility. Please join us in our efforts to enhance the safety of our public spaces by complying with local regulations, practicing social distancing (staying at least 6 feet or 2 meters from other guests and hotel associates), and wearing face coverings whenever you're in public areas of the hotel. We do appreciate your support and understanding.
Sheraton Ankara Hotel&Convention Center and Lugal, A Luxury Collection Hotel, Ankara are the first internationally managed hotels that have been accredited with the safe tourism certificate in the capital city of Turkey.

Signage throughout our hotels to remind guests to maintain social distancing, occupancy limits and seating capacities reductions in our restaurants in compliance with local and state mandates. Minibar items can only be provided by the room service upon guest request. Room service, minibar, restaurant and bar menus can be viewed through scanning QR code. Printed menus can also be provided upon guest request. Contactless payment is available at our restaurants.

Mobile check-in, service requests, and room service orders delivered right to your door via the Marriott Bonvoy™ mobile app.

Valet and luggage services are provided upon guest request.

The air conditioning plants filters of our hotel are cleaned regularly in accordance with the standards. The air conditioning plants in the guest rooms and meeting rooms can work with 100% outdoor air.

All of our employees provide service with protective clothing and essential equipment and health checks of our employees are carried out regularly.

In keeping with Marriott's Commitment to Clean, we have notice made several enhancements to our cleaning practices throughout our property and in guest rooms. These include:

 

  • Enhanced Public Space Cleaning: We have increased the frequency of cleaning and disinfection, particularly in areas with high traffic including restrooms, elevators, and escalators as well as provided more hand sanitizing stations.
  • Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): Staff members will wear PPE (e.g., face coverings, gloves, etc.) based on the activities they are performing and based on direction by the local authorities. Guests are welcome to wear personal face coverings.
  • Electrostatic Spraying: We're utilizing enhanced technologies, including electrostatic sprayers with hospital-grade disinfectants, to support our already rigorous cleanliness protocols.

Room Decoration

Decorative elements such as vases, throw pillows and magazines have been removed from the rooms.

Every guest room is thoroughly cleaned and disinfected prior to your arrival. We will provide housekeeping cleaning services after your third night with us and while you are away from the room. If you'd like to receive additional daily cleaning, simply let our team know and we will gladly take care of it.

We are committed to making the amenities and services at our property available to you while complying with local regulations, including guidance on reducing capacity in public spaces and reinforcing social distancing. The modifications we have made include:

 

  • Fitness Center: Open, masks required at all times except training and reservation is required.
  • Massage: Open, reservation required.
  • Indoor Pool and Wet Areas: Open, reservation required.
  • Golf Simulation, Group Training, Squash, Tennis Court: Open, social distancing and reservation is required.

In keeping with Marriott's Commitment to Clean, we have notice made several enhancements to our cleaning practices throughout our meeting rooms and outlets. These include:

 

  • Our outdoor Garden Terrace Restaurant is opened in accordance with the social distancing rules and offers an appealing healthy menu.
  • Room service will be provided without entering the guest room by keeping social distance and they will be collected in the same way.
  • Upon our guests' request our food and beverage services can be provided with disposable cutlery.
  • Considering social distancing rules, all of our meeting rooms and restaurants have been reorganized through reducing their capacities by 50%, maintaining 1.5 m distance between the tables and 60 cm between the chairs.
  • Disposable pack products are used for salt, pepper and sugar.
  • Restaurant and room service menus can be viewed through scanning QR code. Printed menus can also be provided upon our guests' request.
  • We kindly remind our guests to use mask in all the restaurant areas and also provide it upon request.
  • Hand disinfectant products are available at the restaurant entrances and on the guest tables.
  • Our restaurants and service areas are ventilated and disinfected every 1 hour.
  • Our tables are kept unoccupied for 45 minutes and disinfected with appropriate hygiene products before offering to our guests. Sterile tablecloths, tableware, glasses, disposable salt and pepper are placed back on the tables.
  • All printed materials, newspapers and magazines have been removed from the restaurants and service areas.
  • Water dispensers and tea-coffee machines in the general areas have been removed. Upon our guests' request, water, tea and coffee are served by our staff who wears protective clothing.
  • Boxed and bottled soft drinks are served along with wrapped straws.
  • Contactless payment method is available at our restaurants.
