Providing a safer environment for our guests and associates is a top priority. Achieving this is a shared responsibility. Please join us in our efforts to enhance the safety of our public spaces by complying with local regulations, practicing social distancing (staying at least 6 feet or 2 meters from other guests and hotel associates), and wearing face coverings whenever you're in public areas of the hotel. We do appreciate your support and understanding.
Signage throughout the resort to reminding guests to maintain social distancing, occupancy limits and seating capacities reductions in our restaurants in compliance with local and state mandates, and partitions installed at front desks and food and beverage service lines. We have also implemented digital and disposable menus in all restaurants in order to diminish contact surfaces. Housekeeping procedures have been reinforced with Karcher steam machines.

In keeping with Marriott's Commitment to Clean, we have notice made several enhancements to our cleaning practices throughout our property and in guest rooms. These include:

 

  • Enhanced Public Space Cleaning: We have increased the frequency of cleaning and disinfection, particularly in areas with high traffic including restrooms, elevators, and escalators as well as provided more hand sanitizing stations.
  • Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): Staff members will wear PPE (e.g., face coverings, gloves, etc.) based on the activities they are performing and based on direction by the local authorities. Guests are welcome to wear personal face coverings.
  • Deep cleaning in the rooms. We are utilizing Karcher steam machines to clean the rooms and lobby from time to time, ensuring that all fabrics are deeply sanitized.


Every guest room is thoroughly cleaned and disinfected between each guest. We will continue to provide housekeeping services daily while you are away from the room. If you have any specific housekeeping preferences or would like to not receive housekeeping service during your stay, please contact guest services at any time.

We are committed to making the amenities and services at our property available to you while complying with local regulations, including guidance on reducing capacity in public spaces and reinforcing social distancing.

 

The modifications we have made include:

 

  • Fitness Center: Open with lower capacity and signage through the machines pointing the ones that can and cannot be used. Sanitizer is available to be used in every machine and equipment. Cleaning reinforced in this area.
  • Spa: Open, reservation required.
  • Beach: Open. Sunbeds placed 3 meters apart, according to the National Health Authority guidelines
  • Golf: Open, social distancing required.
  • Kids Club / Playground: Open. Child care service with online reservations. Playground open and social distancing required at all times.
  • Shuttle: Operating on demand, with one family/group per time.
  • Lounges: Open, masks required for entry.
  • Breakfast: buffet display protected by glass and served by our staff.

We have reduced the capacity in each restaurant, to provide more space between the tables and chairs. We have also taken off all decoration, table cloths and other fabrics that are decorative only, avoiding contact surfaces. Cleaning procedure reinforced including cleaning the table and the chairs. All restaurants has sanitizers available, as well as floor signage indicating the social distancing when necessary.

 

  • Pine Cliffs Eats: new room service offered for guests, with delivery, take away and family ready meals options available. Guests are encouraged to order from the room and apartment avoiding contact with other guests.
  • Jardim Colonial: open for breakfast. The buffet is protected by glasses and served by the staff. Tables and chairs are cleaned before and after each use.
  • Corda Café: open for lunch and dinner. Reservations for dinner required. Digital and disposable menus are available. The terrace is available.
  • O Pescador: open for lunch and dinner. Reservations for dinner required. Digital and disposable menus are available. Terrace service only.
  • Piri Piri Steak House: Open for dinner, reservation required. Digital and disposable menus are available. Terrace service only.
  • Maré at Pine Cliffs: Open for lunch and dinner. Reservations for dinner required.
  • Clubhouse: Open for breakfast, dinner and snacks throughout the day. Digital and disposable menus are available. Terrace service only.
  • Mirador Champagne Bar: Open for happy hour until sunset. Digital menu is available. This is an outdoors venue.
  • Yakuza Algarve by Olivier: Open for dinner. Digital menu is available. This is an outdoor venue.
