Providing a safer environment for our guests and associates is a top priority. Achieving this is a shared responsibility. In keeping with Marriott's Commitment to Clean, we have made several enhancements to our cleaning practices throughout our property and in guest rooms. These include:

Enhanced Public Space Cleaning: We have increased the frequency of cleaning and disinfection, particularly in areas with high traffic including restrooms, elevators, and escalators as well as provided more hand sanitizing stations.

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): Staff members will wear PPE (e.g., face coverings, gloves, etc.) based on the activities they are performing and based on direction by the local authorities. in Gent, guests are required to wear personal face coverings inside the hotel public spaces and outside in the city.

Room Amenities: Disinfectant wipes are available in the room for every arriving guest as well as upon request
Every guest room is thoroughly cleaned and disinfected prior to your arrival. We will provide housekeeping cleaning services after your third night with us and while you are away from the room. If you’d like to receive additional daily cleaning, simply let our team know and we will gladly take care of it.

We are committed to making the amenities and services at our property available to you while complying with local regulations, including guidance on reducing capacity in public spaces and reinforcing social distancing. The modifications we have made include:

 

  • Fitness Center: Open, masks required at all times. Please reserve a time slot in advance at reception.
  • Lounges: Closed as per federal rules.
  • Breakfast: Room Service only. We will prepare a nice breakfast tray with cold and hot options for you.
  • Bars & Restaurants: Closed as per federal rules. A wide variety of delivery options to the room are available.

All restaurants and bars in Belgium are closed as per federal rules, and guests are only allowed to eat in their room. We expect to be able to reopen in March, pending evaluation of the covid-19 situation by the government.
