The safety of our guests and associates is a top priority. As guidance regarding face coverings and vaccination verification varies by local jurisdiction and may change, guests should review public information websites for the most up-to-date guidance for your destination, as well as the hotel-specific sections below and US and Canada Travel Advisories | Marriott Bonvoy™ before traveling. Fully vaccinated guests are no longer required to wear face coverings or social distance in indoor or outdoor areas of the hotel, unless required by local law.
Hotel Northland has floor indicators for social distancing in all public space. The restaurant is in compliance with all Marriott, local and state mandates. Signage is displayed in all public space in regard to social distancing. The property is engaged in Fresh bites for in room delivery and is a drop and go scenario. Mobile key is in place for check ins and valet service is suspended.
Hotel Northland participates Marriott’s Commitment to Clean, we have made several enhancements to our cleaning practices throughout our property and in guest rooms.

Hotel Northland has increased the frequency of cleaning and disinfection, particularly in areas with high traffic including restrooms, elevators, and escalators as well as provided more hand sanitizing stations.

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Staff members will wear PPE (e.g., face coverings, gloves, etc.) based on the activities they are performing and based on direction by the local authorities. Guests are welcome to wear personal face coverings.
Every guest room is thoroughly cleaned and disinfected prior to your arrival. During your stay, we will not provide housekeeping automatically every day. If you wish to receive daily housekeeping refresh service, please let us our guest services team know. We will be happy to make schedule service according to your preferences. Please note that if you are staying with us a bit longer, we will automatically clean your guest room after every 6th night.

We are committed to making the amenities and services at Hotel Northland available to you while complying with local regulations, including parameters on reducing capacity in public spaces and reinforcing social distancing. This includes:

The Hotel Northland offers our scratch, fan based, casual restaurant: Poke the Bear. The Hotel Northland also offers dinner in The Walnut Room, original to the Hotel and dating to 1924, it includes a full menu of fine meals made with fresh, locally sourced, locally-grown produce, meats and dairy products.


The Bar and Restaurant also features hand-crafted unique cocktails and an extensive wine list. We have social distancing in place as well as gloves and masks for all employees. Sanitization and signage offers our guests clarity on our practices.


All culinary professionals in food preparation and execution are masked and gloved at all times. We offer takeaway and contactless delivery with comprehensive social distancing practices in place.
