Providing a safer environment for our guests and associates is a top priority. Achieving this is a shared responsibility. Please join us in our efforts to enhance the safety of our public spaces by complying with local regulations, practicing social distancing (staying at least 6 feet or 2 meters from other guests and hotel associates), and wearing face coverings whenever you're in public areas of the hotel. We do appreciate your support and understanding.
We are fortunate at Sheraton Athlone Hotel that our hotels enjoy spacious ground floor capacity, as well as extensive outdoor space. As a result physical distancing in our hotels will be much easier, Signage throughout our hotels to remind guests to maintain social distancing, occupancy limits and seating capacities reductions in our restaurants in compliance with Government guidelines, and partitions installed at front desks and food and beverage service lines.

In keeping with Marriott's Commitment to Clean, we have made several enhancements to our cleaning practices throughout our property and in guest rooms. These include:

Enhanced Public Space Cleaning: We have increased the frequency of cleaning and disinfection, particularly in areas with high traffic including restrooms and elevators as well as provided more hand sanitizing stations.

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): Staff members will wear PPE (e.g., face coverings, gloves, etc.) based on the activities they are performing and based on direction by the Government guidelines. Guests are welcome to wear personal face coverings.

Electrostatic Spraying: We're utilizing enhanced technologies, including electrostatic sprayers with hospital-grade disinfectants, to support our already rigorous cleanliness protocols.

Room Seal: Once your room has been cleaned by the sanitising team, they will place a room seal on the door and not accessed until your arrival.

Every guest room is thoroughly cleaned and disinfected prior to your arrival. We will provide housekeeping cleaning services after your third night with us and while you are away from the room. If you'd like to receive additional daily cleaning, simply let our team know and we will gladly take care of it.

We are committed to making the amenities and services at our property available to you while complying with Government Guidelines, including guidance on reducing capacity in public spaces and reinforcing social distancing. During Level 5 we have made the following modifications:

 

 

  • Fitness Centre: Closed
  • Spa: Closed
  • Kids Club: Closed
  • La Provence Restaurant: Closed
  • S Bar & Bistro: Open to residents only, mask required
Our S Bar & Bistro remains open to residents for breakfast and dinner. In line with Government guidelines, social distancing will be in place throughout, our team will wear PPE and we encourage all guests to wear face masks.
