In keeping with Marriott's Commitment to Clean, we have made several enhancements to our cleaning practices throughout our property and in guest rooms. These include:

Enhanced Public Space Cleaning: We have increased the frequency of cleaning and disinfection, particularly in areas with high traffic including restrooms, elevators, and escalators as well as provided more hand sanitizing stations.

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): Staff members will wear PPE (e.g., face coverings, gloves, etc.) based on the activities they are performing and based on direction by the local authorities. Current government guidelines state that all guest are required to wear a mask in public spaces, unless they are eating/drinking.

Electrostatic Spraying: We're utilizing enhanced technologies, including electrostatic sprayers with hospital-grade disinfectants, to support our already rigorous cleanliness protocols.

Room Amenities: Every guest room is thoroughly cleaned and disinfected prior to your arrival. We will provide housekeeping cleaning services every day and while you are away from the room.

We are still subject to government restrictions to minimize the spread of COVID-19, therefore we kindly inform you about governmental restrictions which might impact your stay:

 

Check In: Touristic stays are permitted again. Guests have to bring their valid vaccination certificate or proof of COVID-19 recovery or a test on daily basis or a PCR test that is not older than 48 hours, with the exception of children and young people under 16 years. A FFP2 mask must be worn in public areas.

 

Fitness Center/Pool: Open from 7am to 10pm (weekdays) and 8am to 10pm (weekends). A vaccination, immunization certificate or a test on daily basis or a PCR test that is not older than 48 hours is required. 

 

Heavenly Spa: We are offering treatments (massages, facials, manicures, pedicures) if a vaccination, immunization certificate or a test on daily basis or a PCR test that is not older than 48 hours is brought to check in. We kindly ask you to book your treatment appointment before your stay under spa.thewestinhamburg@westin.com.

 

Westin Club: Open from Monday until Friday from 3:30pm to 10pm for Marriott Bonvoy Platinum, Titanium and Ambassador members. Please note that only vaccinated, recovered or tested guests are allowed to enter the Westin Club.

 

BLICK Bar: We know how important meals are to a great hotel experience. Our bar BLICK is open Monday - Thursday from 11am to 12am and Friday - Sunday from 12pm to 12 am. The kitchen closes at 10pm. Please note that only vaccinated, recovered or guests with a test on daily basis or a PCR test that is not older than 48 hours are allowed to enter the bar. 

 

Restaurant Fang & Feld: Breakfast is served in our restaurant Fang & Feld between 6.30am-11am on weekdays and 7am-12noon on weekends. By 12th January dinner is served from Thursday until Saturday from 5:30 pm until 11:00 pm. Please note that only vaccinated, recovered or guests with a test on daily basis or a PCR test that is not older than 48 hours are allowed to enter the restaurant.

 

Coffee Bar: Our coffee bar is directly located next to our reception desk and offer you freshly brewed coffee and tasty specialties. The coffee bar opens Friday - Sunday from 10 AM until 5 PM. 

 

Elbphilharmonie/Plaza: Please note, masks are required in all public areas.

  • Mobile Check-In/Check-Out: Let us know via the app when you are planning to arrive and once you departed.
  • Mobile Key: Forgo the front desk altogether and go straight to your guest room.
