Providing a safer environment for our guests and associates is a top priority. Achieving this is a shared responsibility. Please join us in our efforts to enhance the safety of our public spaces by complying with local regulations, practicing social distancing and wearing face coverings whenever you're in indoor public areas of the hotel. We do appreciate your support and understanding.
We are providing signages throughout the hotel to remind guests about maintaining social distancing, wearing their masks in public areas and occupancy limits in elevators.

In keeping with Marriott's Commitment to Clean, we have made several enhancements to our cleaning practices throughout our property and in guest rooms. These include:

Enhanced Public Space Cleaning: We have increased the frequency of cleaning and disinfection, particularly in areas with high traffic including restrooms, elevators, and escalators as well as provided more hand sanitizing stations.

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): Staff members will wear PPE (e.g., face coverings, gloves, etc.) based on the activities they are performing and based on direction by the local authorities. Current government guidelines state that all guest are required to wear a mask in public spaces, unless they are eating/drinking.

Electrostatic Spraying: We're utilizing enhanced technologies, including electrostatic sprayers with hospital-grade disinfectants, to support our already rigorous cleanliness protocols.

Room Amenities:

  • All in-room equipment such as coffee makers, kettle, phone, and remote control are being cleaned and disinfected.
  • Disinfectant wipes are available in the room for every arriving guest as well as upon request.

Every guest room is thoroughly cleaned and disinfected prior to your arrival. We will provide housekeeping cleaning services after your third night with us and while you are away from the room. If you'd like to receive additional daily cleaning, simply let our team know and we will gladly take care of it.

We are still subject to government restrictions to minimize the spread of Covid-19, therefore we kindly inform you about governmental restrictions which might impact your stay:

Check In: Touristic stays are permitted again. A negative Covid test of maximum 24hours is required to check in and the test result must be resubmitted every 72 hours. Alternatively, guests can bring their vaid vaccination certificate or proof of Covid - 19 recovery.

Fitness Center/Pool: Open from 07am to 09pm (weekdays) and 08am to 09pm (weekends). A negative test result and pre booking of the slot for pool and gym is required. The saunas can be used every weekday as of 05pm and from 08am to 09pm on weekends. Kindly book your slot under spa.thewestinhamburg@westin.com early to avoid disappointment as we are not yet permitted to operate at full capacity. Thanks for your understanding.

Heavenly Spa: We are offering treatments (massages, facials, manicures, pedicures) if a negative test result is brought to check in and an appointment is booked. We kindly ask you to book your appointment as early as possible as we are not yet allowed to operate at full capacity.

Westin Club: Open every day from 15.30 to 22.00 hrs for Marriott Bonvoy Platinum, Titanium and Ambassador members. Please understand that due to the size of the Westin Club and current social distancing guidelines we are not able to welcome any other guests than the Marriott Bonvoy members entitled for the use of The Westin Hamburg Club.

BLICK Bar: We know how important meals are to a great hotel experience. Our bar BLICK is open from 10am to 11pm. The kitchen closes at 10pm and we kindly ask you to order your dinner by 09.30pm. Outside guests are welcome to visit the hotel, a negative covid test result of 48 hrs is required as well as a registration.

Restaurant Fang & Feld: Breakfast is served in our restaurant Fang & Feld between 06.30-11.00 am on weekdays and 07-12.00 am on weekends. For your reassurance and to minimise the chances of any further spread of Covid-19, we are limiting the number of people in our restaurants. We strongly recommend that you book ahead so that you can choose the time which is right for you. Get in touch with us at the reception to book your table for breakfast. Kindly note that the restaurant will be still closed for dinner until further notice.

Room Service: Available with our regular "Eat Well" - Menu 24 hrs a day.

BLick coffee bar: Closed.
