Providing a safer environment for our guests and associates is a top priority. Achieving this is a shared responsibility. Please join us in our efforts to enhance the safety of our public spaces by complying with local regulations, practicing social distancing (staying at least 6 feet or 2 meters from other guests and hotel associates), and wearing face coverings whenever you’re in public areas of the hotel. We do appreciate your support and understanding.

To ensure safe social distancing and contactless experiences, Courtyard by Marriott Phuket Town has elevated higher safety and cleanliness standards. Below are some of the measures and practices we have implemented to ensure our guest's safety. 

 

  • Temperature checks are implemented for all guests and associates when entering hotel premises.
  • Signages are placed throughout the hotel to remind guests of social distancing.
  • Revised seating capacities in our restaurants, bar and other outlets have been updated, to align with government guidance.
  • Hand sanitizer stations are available in high-traffic areas including the hotel lobby, restaurants, Kids club, fitness center and all meeting and banqueting areas.
  • All associates are required to wear face masks. Guests are also required to wear face masks, when in public areas. Face masks are available for guests at Front Office and in hotel restaurants.
  • The hotel provides disinfectant wipes in each guest room.

With Marriott's Commitment to Cleanliness, our associates are trained to practice proper hygiene operation in every aspect to elevate guests' confidence during their stay. There are also some changes in amenity set ups and services to maintain levels of hygiene safety accordingly. 

 

  • Enhanced Public Space Cleaning: We have increased the frequency of cleaning and disinfection, especially in high-traffic areas like restrooms, elevators, and provided more hand sanitizing stations.
  • Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): Associates will wear PPE (Face Masks, Gloves etc.) based on the duties they are performing and the local government regulations.
  • Guest Rooms and Key Cards: Every guest room and key card is thoroughly cleaned and disinfected. We will continue to provide housekeeping services daily while guests are away from their room.

 

Every guest room is thoroughly cleaned and disinfected prior to guest arrivals. We provide housekeeping cleaning services after your second night with us and while you are away from the room. If you'd like to receive additional daily cleaning, simply let our team know and we will gladly take care of it.

We are committed to making the amenities at our property available to you while complying with local regulations, including guidance on reducing capacity in public spaces and reinforcing social distancing. The modifications we have made include:

 

  • Fitness Center: We clean all exercise equipment after usage, and encourage guests to additionally self-wipe down equipment before usage.
  • Kids Club: We have increased the frequency of cleaning and only allow 8 kids per session in the Kids' Club.

To align our hospitality service and operation with government guidelines, we closely monitor the direction from the local health department regarding health and safety measures, cleaning and social distancing procedures, as well as personal protective equipment.

 

A temperature check is conducted for every guest when entering our hotel premises and guests are also required to wear a face mask. The same procedures apply to hotel staff. The buffet area can only be approached when wearing a face mask and after using hand sanitizer. Menu's will be available digitally to access via QR code in every outlet.
