Providing a safer environment for our guests and associates is a top priority. Achieving this is a shared responsibility. Please join us in our efforts to enhance the safety of our public spaces by complying with local regulations and wearing a face covering - which is required - whenever you're in public areas of the hotel. We do appreciate your support and understanding. We remind you also to practice social distancing, staying at least 6 feet or 2 meters from other guests and hotel associates.
The City & County of Honolulu has mandated that face masks be worn at all times in public settings. It is required for all guests and associates to wear a face mask in all indoor and outdoor public areas throughout the resort, and to maintain a social distance of at least 6 feet.

There is signage throughout our hotel to remind guests to maintain social distancing, occupancy limits and seating capacities reductions in our restaurants and amenities in compliance with local and state mandates, and partitions installed at front desks and food and beverage service lines.

Mobile check-in is available via the Marriott Bonvoy™ mobile app.

Our valet parking service is currently unavailable. Upon your arrival at our porte cochère, our bellmen will greet you. After your luggage has been collected, please proceed to our self-parking garage located on Kaiulani Ave. Self parking available for a fee.

In keeping with Marriott's Commitment to Clean, we have made several enhancements to our cleaning practices throughout our property and in guest rooms. These include:

 

 

  • Enhanced Public Space Cleaning: We have increased the frequency of cleaning and disinfection, particularly in areas with high traffic, including restrooms, elevators, and escalators, as well as provided more hand sanitizing stations.
  • Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): Associates will wear PPE (e.g., face coverings, gloves, etc.) based on the activities they are performing and based on direction by the local authorities.
  • Face coverings: Guests are required to wear face coverings in all public spaces. This includes, but is not limited to, lobby, guest room corridors, elevators, meeting spaces, public restrooms, food & beverage venues, business centers, fitness center, spa. Face coverings may be removed while seated in our restaurant and bar or swimming pool, but guests are expected to keep face coverings on while moving to and from our pool areas.
  • Electrostatic Spraying: We're utilizing enhanced technologies, including electrostatic sprayers with hospital-grade disinfectants in our public spaces, to support our already rigorous cleanliness protocols.
  • Room Amenities: Disinfectant wipes are available in the room for every arriving guest as well as upon request.
  • Housekeeping: Your guest room is your sanctuary throughout your stay with us. As part of our commitment to your health and safety, we have deeply cleaned your room in preparation for your arrival. We will not enter your room unless you have a request for maintenance or a daily housekeeping service, which will be completed while you are away from the room. If you are staying with us a bit longer, we will automatically clean your guest room after every 6th night.

We are committed to making the amenities and services at our property available to you while complying with local regulations, including guidance on reducing capacity in public spaces and reinforcing social distancing. The modifications we have made include:

 

 

  • Pool: Open with 8am-6pm, modified seating for social distancing. Please contact guest services to reserve pool chairs in advance. Our whirlpool spa is closed until further notice.
  • Fitness Center: Open 5am-10am and 3pm-8pm. Equipment modifications, occupancy restrictions and proper social distancing measures are in place with regular cleaning intervals; there will be some equipment unavailable.
  • Spa: Temporarily closed.
  • Beach: Beach chairs are available for exclusive rental by hotel guests from 8am-6pm, with modified seating for social distancing. Please contact guest services to book beach chairs in advance. Please see the City & Country of Honolulu's website for public beach information.
  • Kids Club: Temporarily closed.
  • Lounge: Temporarily Closed.

Updated spacious floorplans in our restaurant and bar allow you to enjoy your dining experience at a social distance from other patrons. In addition, our restaurants menus are available for take away.

In response to the current environment, the hotel will follow enhanced sanitation guidelines and have modified access to menus to include digital menus and disposable printed menus.

 

  • The Veranda - Open for Breakfast 6:30AM - 11:00 AM
  • Beach Bar - Open for Lunch and Dinner 11:00 AM - 8:00 PM with live sunset entertainment available nightly from 6-8pm
  • Surfrider Cafe - Grab and Go 7:00am - 2:00pm

Please note in-room dining is currently unavailable, and food & beverage consumed in the resort's public spaces must be purchased on property.

Guest planning a trip to Hawaii, or between the Hawaiian Islands, should review current government guidance, as this information changes frequently. Beginning October 15, Hawaii will launch a Pre-Travel Testing Program that provides travelers with an alternative to the mandatory 14-day quarantine.
