In keeping with Marriott's Commitment to Clean, we have made several enhancements to our cleaning practices throughout our property and in guest rooms. These include:

Enhanced Public Space Cleaning: We have increased the frequency of cleaning and disinfection, particularly in areas with high traffic including restrooms, elevators, and escalators as well as provided more hand sanitizing stations. Signage in public spaces will remind our guests to maintain social distancing. We will be adding partitions at check-in to provide an extra level of precaution for our guests and our associates.

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): Staff members will wear PPE (e.g., face coverings, gloves, etc.) based on the activities they are performing and based on direction by the local authorities. Guests are welcome to wear personal face coverings.

Face Coverings: Face coverings may be removed while seated in our restaurant and bar or swimming pool but guests are expected to keep face coverings on while moving to and from our pool areas.

Electrostatic Spraying: We're utilizing enhanced technologies, including electrostatic sprayers with hospital-grade disinfectants, to support our already rigorous cleanliness protocols.

Room Amenities: In guest rooms, we have elevated our rigorous protocols to thoroughly clean all surfaces with hospital-grade disinfectants. And we will be placing disinfecting wipes in each room for your use.

Housekeeping: Your guest room is your sanctuary throughout your stay with us. As part of our commitment to you, we have deeply cleaned your room in preparation for your arrival. Unless you choose otherwise, we will not provide daily housekeeping service in an effort to maintain a contact-lite experience. If you have any requests, or would like us to service your room, we would be delighted to do so. Simply let us know when you will be leaving for the day and we will do the rest. If you are staying with us a bit longer, we will automatically clean your guest room after every 6th night.

The top priority of our team is ensuring all amenities are available for your enjoyment and your resort experience will be as extraordinary as ever. We are committed to making the amenities and services at our property available to you while complying with local regulations.

Guests planning a trip to Hawaii, or between the Hawaiian Islands, are responsible for reviewing and complying with current government guidance, as this information changes frequently.

The State of Hawaii's Safe Travels program requires proof of full vaccination administered in the U.S. or its Territories or a negative test result prior to your departure to Hawaii to bypass quarantine. On the island of Maui, guests are required to show proof of approved full vaccination along with valid picture identification at each touchpoint to enter indoor areas of entertainment throughout Maui. This includes restaurants, bars, luaus as well as fitness centers and spas, plus many of our resort and island activities.

Children under 12 years old are exempt.

Additionally, due to an increase in cases in local communities, the State of Hawaii has implemented temporary restrictions limiting the size of gatherings. For guests attending meetings and events, we recommend visiting the Meet Hawaii site for updates as well as connecting with an individual from our sales teams for specific questions.

Maui County requires all arriving passengers, 18 years of age or older, to have uploaded the AlohaSafe COVID-19 exposure app or other Google-Apple exposure notification (GAEN) system to their mobile phones. Failure to do so will result in a mandatory 10-day quarantine. For information about AlohaSafe and links to download, go to https://www.alohasafealert.org/. For complete details on this new rule and applicable exceptions visit https://www.mauicounty.gov/.
