Hotel Information

For more information on Marriott's Commitment to Cleanliness, please visit our corporate site.
Providing a safer environment for our guests and associates is a top priority. Achieving this is a shared responsibility. Please join us in our efforts to enhance the safety of our public spaces by complying with local regulations and wearing a face covering - which is required - whenever you're in public areas of the hotel. We do appreciate your support and understanding. We remind you also to practice social distancing, staying at least 6 feet or 2 meters from other guests and hotel associates.
  • As outlined by the State of Hawaii and Maui County, all individuals shall wear face coverings over their noses and mouths when in public settings, unless while stationary and adequately separated, such as occupying a pool lounge chair, beach chair, or towel. Adequately separated means that a physical distance of six (6) feet from other individuals (who are not members of the same household/living unit/residence) can be maintained at all times. An owner or operator of any business or operation shall refuse admission or service to any individual who fails to wear a face covering, unless an exception applies. Businesses or operations may adopt stricter protocols or requirements related to face coverings and face shields. Please see the Maui County website https://www.mauicounty.gov/ and the State of Hawaii website https://hawaiicovid19.com/ for additional information and the most up to date information as rules have changed frequently.
  • As the island of Maui is still limiting the overall occupancies for restaurants and activities, we highly recommend that guests make reservations for activities, dining and rental cars in advance of their visit. Contact our concierge via email at smc@aqualani.com for assistance.
  • There is signage throughout our hotel to remind guests to maintain social distancing, occupancy limits and seating capacities reductions in our restaurants and amenities in compliance with local and state mandates, and partitions installed at front desks and food and beverage service lines.
  • Mobile check-in is available via the Marriott Bonvoy™ mobile app.
  • Bell service is available upon arrival.

In keeping with Marriott's Commitment to Clean, we have made several enhancements to our cleaning practices throughout our property and in guest rooms. These include:

  • Enhanced Public Space Cleaning: We have increased the frequency of cleaning and disinfection, particularly in areas with high traffic, including restrooms, elevators, and escalators, as well as provided more hand sanitizing stations.
  • Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): Associates will wear PPE (e.g., face coverings, gloves, etc.) based on the activities they are performing and based on direction by the local authorities.
  • Face Coverings: Guests are required to wear face coverings in all public spaces. This includes, but is not limited to, lobby, guest room corridors, elevators, meeting spaces, public restrooms, food & beverage venues, business centers, fitness center. Face coverings may be removed while seated in our restaurant and bar or swimming pool, but guests are expected to keep face coverings on while moving to and from our pool areas.
  • Electrostatic Spraying: We're utilizing enhanced technologies, including electrostatic sprayers with hospital-grade disinfectants in our public spaces, to support our already rigorous cleanliness protocols.
  • Room Amenities: Disinfectant wipes are available in the room for every arriving guest as well as upon request.
  • Housekeeping: Your guest room is your sanctuary throughout your stay with us. We have deeply cleaned your room in preparation for your arrival. If you have any requests, we will be happy to assist; simply let us know when you will be leaving for the day and we will do the rest.

We are committed to making the amenities and services at our property available to you while complying with local regulations, including guidance on reducing capacity in public spaces and reinforcing social distancing. The modifications we have made include:

Please refrain from re-configuring or modify seating arrangements. Whirlpool spa is unavailable. Maintaining 6 feet of social distance from individuals who are not members of your household/living unit/residence is required.

Once in Hawaii, please travel pono (responsibly) and follow all current mask and social distancing mandates.

We look forward to welcoming you to our beautiful resort. To ensure a smooth arrival, please follow these steps.

  • Check-in: Guests will be asked to validate their quarantine status using the Safe Travels QR code and associated valid picture ID for all guests in the room, ages 5 and over.
