Property Information

Introducing the next level in healthy spaces for your vacation stays. When you and your family vacation with us, we want to help you stay healthy.

Marriott's Commitment to Clean provides cleaner, safer spaces for our Owners, guests and associates. So you can vacation with confidence. And focus on what matters most: time together. For details, learn more about Our Next Level of Clean.
The safety of our guests and associates is a top priority. As guidance regarding face coverings and vaccination verification varies by local jurisdiction and may change, guests should review public information websites for the most up-to-date guidance for your destination, as well as the hotel-specific sections below and US and Canada Travel Advisories | Marriott Bonvoy™ before traveling. Unless it is required by local law or order, fully vaccinated guests are no longer required to wear face coverings or social distance in indoor or outdoor areas of the hotel. We ask that all unvaccinated guests continue to wear face coverings and practice social distancing when they are in public spaces inside the hotel.
A full spectrum of social distancing guidelines have been implemented throughout each property, including:

  • Altered traffic flow to support 6-foot spacing
  • Removed brochure racks
  • Removed unnecessary furnishings
  • Installation of signage across the property campus to remind Owners, guests, and associates of social distancing requirements.
  • Reduction of seating in common areas, such as lobbies
  • Closure of every other stall in common area restrooms
  • Limitations on occupancy in fitness centers and removal of certain equipment, where applicable.
  • Reductions in pool deck seating, where applicable
  • Continued closure of activities centers and kid's clubs. where applicable
In keeping with Our Next Level of Clean and Marriott's Commitment to Clean, we have made several enhancements to our cleaning practices throughout our property and accommodations. These include:

Enhanced Public Space Cleaning. With increased frequency and enhanced cleaning tools, you'll get a heightened level of clean and health safety throughout shared areas. You will find hand sanitizer stations at high-traffic public spaces like the lobby, front desk, elevator landings, food & beverage entrances and fitness center entrances.

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). All associates will wear PPE (e.g., face coverings, gloves, etc.) based on the activities they are performing and based on direction by the local authorities.

Electrostatic Spraying. We're utilizing enhanced technologies, including electrostatic sprayers with hospital-grade disinfectants, to support our already rigorous cleanliness protocols.

Your Clean Home Away from Home

All of your private vacation spaces now undergo an even more robust regimen of cleaning protocols.

  • Hospital-grade disinfectants are used in every villa/room, before every check-in.
  • Disinfectant wipes are available in the villa/room for every arriving guest as well as upon request.
  • Each villa/room is thoroughly cleaned and disinfected, with particular attention paid to high-touch surfaces, such as light switches, door handles, remote controls, countertops, climate controls, and appliance doors using hospital-grade disinfectants
  • Removal and replacement of all unused linen/terry from villas/rooms
  • Removal and replacement of all unused bathroom amenities, such as soap and shampoo
  • Removal and replacement of all opened paper products, such as toilet and facial tissues
  • In support of continued enhanced public area cleaning, enhanced villa/room departure cleans, and for the health and safety of property associates, daily housekeeping service, such as daily tidies, is currently unavailable.

Isolation and Quarantine Requirements
Effective Jan. 3, 2022, Hawaii's Isolation and Quarantine Policy requires:

  • Those with a COVID-19 positive test result must isolate for minimum of 5 days and until symptoms are gone, and continue to wear a mask for 5 days after isolation.
  • Those with a known exposure to COVID-19:
    • If boosted or fully vaccinated within past 6 months (2 months for Johnson & Johnson single-dose vaccine recipients): no quarantine needed; wear a mask for 10 days, and get tested for COVID-19 on Day 5.
    • If not boosted or not fully vaccinated: quarantine for 5 days; wear a mask for 5 days after quarantine, and get tested for COVID-19 on Day 5.

Those with COVID-19 symptoms (even if mild symptoms) should stay home from work, school and other activities AND test as soon as possible if not already tested.

Other Requirements

Pursuant to the Maui County mayor's Public Health Emergency Rules (originally issued Oct. 12, 2021), all individuals ages 12 years and older must present the following prior to entering a restaurant, bar or other food or social establishments, gyms, or fitness centers:

  • Proof of full vaccination AND government or school-issued identification matching the same name as the proof of vaccination.

IMPORTANT: Pursuant to Maui County's Public Health Emergency Rules, prior to Jan. 24, 2022, "full vaccination" meant more than two weeks had passed since receiving the second dose in a two-dose COVID-19 vaccine or a single-dose COVID-19 vaccine authorized/approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration. Beginning Jan. 24, 2022, "full vaccination" will mean more than two weeks having passed since receiving the second dose in a two-dose COVID-19 vaccine or a single-dose COVID-19 vaccine authorized/approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, and having received a booster vaccination, if eligible. Please see the Maui County Public Health Emergency Rules for full details.

Proof of full COVID-19 vaccination includes a completed vaccination card in original, photocopied, or digital form; the Hawaii SMART Health Card digital health pass; or other similar vaccination documentation from a healthcare provider.

Proof of a negative COVID-19 test result taken within 48 hours of entry into the premises, and identification bearing the same identifying information as the negative COVID-19 test, which must be an FDA approved or FDA EUA approved molecular or antigen test.

Individuals who previously tested positive for COVID-19 and have recovered may be allowed entry by providing the following:

    • Processed by a Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendment (CLIA) certified lab OR Department of Defense Clinical Laboratory Improvement Program (CLIP) lab with the name and CLIA/CLIP number of the lab clearly printed on the result; and
    • Dated no more than 90 days and no less than 11 days from the individuals' departure date for Hawaii.
    • A medical provider letter, which MUST be:
    • Dated at least 10 days after the collection date of the positive test result;
    • Signed by a medical provider with the medical provider's name and National Provider Identifier (NPI) clearly listed; and
    • Clearly written to indicate the individual is currently symptom free, or symptoms have resolved, or they are cleared to travel.

The emergency rules require reduced capacity for bars, restaurants, gyms and fitness centers, as well as modified operating hours for restaurants and bars, which may impact amenities' operating hours at the resort.

If an individual does not have proof of full COVID-19 vaccination status, negative test result, or post-COVID 19 infection as outlined above, the emergency rules permit a restaurant to serve the individual in outdoor dining spaces or by take-out only.

By order of the Governor of the State of Hawaii, effective August 5, 2021, face coverings are required for all owners and guests when in indoor public settings (including in all indoor common and public areas), with certain limited exceptions. Please visit the links below for official information on the mandatory restrictions including facial covering requirements, etc.

Owners and guests planning a trip to Hawaii, including traveling between the Hawaiian Islands, should review current State of Hawaii and County government guidance (link provided below), as this information changes frequently and may vary from island to island.

Hawaii Pre-Travel Testing Program

Effective July 8, 2021, domestic travelers to Hawaii who have been fully vaccinated against COVID-19 in the United States are now able to bypass the state's pre-travel testing and quarantine requirements.

For those travelers to Hawaii who do not meet the state's requirements as domestic and fully vaccinated against COVID-19 in the United States, the state of Hawaii has a Pre-Travel Testing Program that provides an alternative to the mandatory 10-day quarantine in connection with travel into Hawaii if all pre-travel testing requirements have been met. It will be your kuleana (responsibility) to know the rules surrounding the Pre-Travel Testing Program and self-quarantine requirements and to abide by the rules imposed. PLEASE NOTE that a county may also require travelers five years and older to obtain a subsequent test after arrival into the statePlease review current government guidance often, as your travel plans could be affected.

Please visit the official state of Hawaii website for information on the Pre-Travel Testing Program and to review any local travel restrictions and testing requirements in place specific to the islands throughout Hawaii.

Additionally, please visit the official Maui County website for information on local travel restrictions and testing requirements for the island of Maui.

Required Online Travel and Health Questionnaire

All arriving passengers to Hawaii will be required to fill out a mandatory state of Hawaii online travel and health questionnaire. Save time during your arrival screening process by completing it online no more than 24 hours before you depart, and follow all pre-arrival procedures. For the current government guidance and to access the online travel and health questionnaire provided by the state of Hawaii, please visit Hawaii's official tourism website.

As of May 4, 2021, all trans-Pacific travelers to Maui County participating in the state of Hawaii's Safe Travels Program (in order to bypass the state of Hawaii's mandatory 10 day quarantine upon arrival) are subject to an additional rapid Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) test upon arrival at the Kahului Airport. Travelers can pre-register for this test on the Maui Arrival Test Pre-registration website. For additional information on the post-arrival testing requirement, please visit the Maui County Travel Rules and Guidelines website.

WHEN YOU GO, DID YOU KNOW?...

  • Vacations Together: You can control your vacation environment in a spacious villa with the conveniences of home. A typical two-bedroom comfortably accommodates family or friends in more than 1,100 square feet, giving everyone their own space.
  • Private Balconies: Most villas include a generously sized private balcony or patio, great for sipping coffee, eating meals, or just relaxing in the fresh air.
  • Villa Cooking: For easy meals in, a fully equipped kitchen (or well-equipped kitchenette in smaller villas) lets you make your favorite dishes or snacks anytime. Or warm up those restaurant leftovers.
  • Comfortable Meals In: A villa gives you options to eat in your space, on your schedule. You might choose to cook, grab take-out, or get delivery, eating relaxed meals at your family-sized table. Or dine ‘out' on your own balcony.
  • Laundry: Most villas include a convenient washer/dryer, so you can have clean clothes (and dry bathing suits) all vacation long. Or if you're flying, pack less.
  • Living Areas: After days venturing off the beaten path, you can unwind together in your comfortable living room or on your outdoor balcony.

Features vary by room type. Refer to your selected room's description for details.
