Providing a safer environment for our guests and associates is a top priority. Achieving this is a shared responsibility. Please join us in our efforts to enhance the safety of our public spaces by complying with local regulations and wearing a face covering - which is required - whenever you're in public areas of the hotel. We do appreciate your support and understanding. We remind you also to practice social distancing, staying at least 6 feet or 2 meters from other guests and hotel associates
The County of Hawaii has mandated that face masks be worn at all times in public settings. It is required for all guests and associates to wear a face mask in all indoor and outdoor public areas throughout the resort, and to maintain a social distance of at least 6 feet.

There is signage throughout our hotel to remind guests to maintain social distancing, occupancy limits, and amenities in compliance with local and state mandates, and partitions installed at front desks and food and beverage service lines.

24 hour security.

Mobile check-in is available and the Marriott Bonvoyâ„¢ mobile app for our loyal Bonvoy members.

Valet service is currently unavailable. Self parking is available for a fee.

Contactless service is available through mobile device and texting.

In keeping with Marriott's Commitment to Clean, we have made several enhancements to our cleaning practices throughout our property and in guest rooms. These include:

  • Enhanced Public Space Cleaning: We have increased the frequency of cleaning and disinfection, particularly in areas with high traffic including restrooms, elevators as well as provided more hand sanitizing stations.
  • Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): Staff members will wear PPE (e.g., face coverings, gloves, etc.) based on the activities they are performing and based on direction by the local authorities.
  • Hawaii County Face Covering Guidance: Hawaii County is mandating that face coverings be worn county-wide in applicable circumstances including entering any indoor and outdoor public space. For your safety and the safety of others, face coverings are required throughout our hotel and throughout the hotel grounds.
  • Electrostatic Spraying: We're utilizing enhanced technologies, including electrostatic sprayers with hospital-grade disinfectants, to support our already rigorous cleanliness protocols.
  • Room Amenities: In-room coffee makers are not currently available, but guests can request contactless coffee delivery. Disinfectant wipes are available in the room for every arriving guest as well as upon request.
  • Housekeeping Service: Every guest room is thoroughly cleaned and disinfected prior to your arrival. During your stay, we will not provide housekeeping automatically every day.

If you wish to receive daily housekeeping refresh service, please let our guest services team know. We will be happy to schedule service according to your preferences. Please note that if you are staying with us a bit longer, we will automatically clean your guest room after every 6th night.

We are committed to making the amenities and services at our property available to you while complying with local regulations, including guidance on reducing capacity in public spaces and reinforcing social distancing.

The modifications we have made include:

  • Fitness Center: Open with limited hours, social distancing, and face masks required at all times

Pre Arrival Testing Program:

Guests planning a trip to Hawaii, or between the Hawaiian Islands, should review current government guidance, as this information changes frequently. Beginning October 15, Hawaii launched a Pre-Travel Testing Program that provides domestic travelers with an alternative to the mandatory 10-day quarantine. Once in Hawaii, please travel pono (responsibly) and follow all local guidelines. https://www.gohawaii.com/travel-requirements.

Travel Advisory:

All arriving passengers to Hawaii are also required to fill out a mandatory State of Hawaii online travel and health questionnaire. Save time during your arrival screening process by completing it online no sooner than 24 hours before you depart, and please follow all pre-arrival procedures. https://travel.hawaii.gov/#/.

County of Hawaii (Big Island) Travel

  • Hawaii County will allow trans-Pacific travelers to arrive as part of the Safe Travels program on October 15.
  • Out-of-state travelers who have chosen to participate in the state's pre-test program will now be required to take a County administered COVID-19 test upon arrival to Hawaii Island. The tests will be administered at all three airports: Ellison Onizuka International Airport at Keahole, Waimea-Kohala Airport, and Hilo International Airport.
  • The cost of the rapid COVID-19 arrival test will be borne by Hawaii County. Testing will be managed by Hawaii County Civil Defense Agency staff and administered by Premier Medical Group Hawaii. This antigen test will provide results within 15-20 minutes. If a traveler tests negative for COVID-19, they will not be subject to self-quarantine. Those testing positive for COVID-19 will be required to take a subsequent PCR test immediately and will be required to self-quarantine per State Department of Health rules while awaiting those results of this test, which are expected within 36 hours.

Check In

Transpacific travelers will be asked to validate their quarantine status using the Safe Travels QR code and associated valid picture ID for all guests in the room, ages 5 and over. State of Hawaii residents, whom have not traveled out of state in the last 14 days, will simply need to show a valid Hawaii State ID matching the address on the reservation.
