The safety of our guests and associates is a top priority. As guidance regarding face coverings and vaccination verification varies by local jurisdiction and may change, guests should review public information websites for the most up-to-date guidance for your destination, as well as the hotel-specific sections below and US and Canada Travel Advisories | Marriott Bonvoy™ before traveling. Fully vaccinated guests are no longer required to wear face coverings or social distance in indoor or outdoor areas of the hotel, unless required by local law.
The County of Hawaii has mandated that face masks be worn at all times in indoor settings. It is required for all guests and associates to wear a face mask in all indoor areas throughout the resort.

There is signage throughout our hotel to remind guests to maintain social distancing, occupancy limits, and amenities in compliance with local and state mandates, and partitions installed at front desks and food and beverage service lines.

In keeping with Marriott's Commitment to Clean, we have made several enhancements to our cleaning practices throughout our property and in guest rooms. These include:


  • Enhanced Public Space Cleaning: We have increased the frequency of cleaning and disinfection, particularly in areas with high traffic including restrooms, elevators as well as provided more hand sanitizing stations.
  • Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): Staff members will wear PPE (e.g., face coverings, gloves, etc.) based on the activities they are performing and based on direction by the local authorities.
  • Hawaii County Face Covering Guidance: Hawaii County is mandating that face coverings be worn county-wide in applicable circumstances including entering any indoor space. For your safety and the safety of others, face coverings are required throughout our hotel and throughout the hotel grounds.
  • Electrostatic Spraying: We're utilizing enhanced technologies, including electrostatic sprayers with hospital-grade disinfectants, to support our already rigorous cleanliness protocols.
  • Room Amenities: Disinfectant wipes are available in the room for every arriving guest as well as upon request.
  • Housekeeping Service: Every guest room is thoroughly cleaned and disinfected prior to your arrival. 

We are committed to making the amenities and services at our property available to you while complying with local regulations, including guidance on reducing capacity in public spaces and reinforcing social distancing.

The modifications we have made include:


  • Fitness Center: Open with social distancing and face masks required 
  • Spa: Open with social distancing
  • Pool: Open 
  • Beach: Open 
  • Billfish Poolside Bar & Grille: Open Daily, 11 am to 9 pm. Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner served. Dine in or take out.
  • Honu's on the Beach Restaurant: Open Daily for Breakfast from 6 am to 11 am. Open for Dinner on Friday and Saturday from 5 pm - 9 pm. 
  • Island Breeze Luau: Shows on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Sunday evenings. 
  • Coffee Shop: Open Daily, 6 am to 5 pm. Breakfast & Lunch served. Dine in or take out.
  • Ululani's Shave Ice: Open Daily, 12 pm to 6 pm. Assorted frozen treats and snacks. Take out only.
