Providing a safer environment for our guests and associates is a top priority. Achieving this is a shared responsibility. Please join us in our efforts to enhance the safety of our public spaces by complying with local regulations, practicing social distancing (staying at least 6 feet or 2 meters from other guests and hotel associates), and wearing face coverings whenever you're in public areas of the hotel. We do appreciate your support and understanding.
Adhering to Marriott International's ‘Commitment to Cleanliness' initiative, Le Méridien Kuala Lumpur is committed to providing you with a safe environment, with the highest standards on cleanliness, hygiene and social distancing measures that are designed to minimize risk and enhance safety for our guests and Marriott associates alike. Upon entry, all guests are required to undergo temperature screening and also safe entry login. Apart from providing face masks, signages are placed throughout the hotel to remind guests to maintain social distancing, practice good hand hygiene, and to always have their face masks on when they are at public areas of the hotel. Hand sanitizers are also readily available for the convenience of all guests.

Our hotel's food safety program includes enhanced sanitation guidelines and training videos for all operations associates to ensure proper hygiene and disinfecting practices. All food handlers and supervisors are trained on safe food preparation and service practices. In terms of Food & Beverage operations, associates are required to conduct self-inspection using the Marriott International's food safety standards as guidelines. Seating capacity at each restaurant is strictly controlled to allow for safe distancing measures between tables. Our all-day dining restaurant, Latest Recipe, is also currently offering a served buffet whereby staffs are placed at each station. The spread is also displayed behind acrylic dividers as a form of safety measurement.

Mobile check-in, service requests and room service orders will be delivered to your door via the Marriott Bonvoy mobile app, for your convenience.

In keeping with Marriott's Commitment to Clean, we have enhanced our cleaning practices throughout our property and in guest rooms. We have increased the frequency of cleaning and disinfection, particularly in areas with high levels of traffic including restrooms, elevators, and escalators as well as providing more hand sanitizing stations.

 

  • Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): Staff members are required to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times, such as face masks, and gloves, based on the activities they are performing. Guests are required to wear face masks according to the government regulations.
  • Disinfectant Wipes: Hand sanitizer and face masks are available in the room for every arriving guest, as well as upon request.


Every guest room is thoroughly cleaned and disinfected prior to your arrival. We will provide housekeeping cleaning services after your third night with us and while you are away from the room. If you'd like to receive additional daily cleaning, simply let our team know and we will gladly take care of it.

We are committed to making the amenities and services at our property available to you while complying with local regulations, including guidance on reducing capacity in public spaces and reinforcing social distancing. The modifications we have made include:

  • Swimming Pool: Open, limited number of person in the pool at a time
  • Fitness Center: Open, face masks required (except when exercising)
