Providing a safer environment for our guests and associates is a top priority. Achieving this is a shared responsibility. Please join us in our efforts to enhance the safety of our public spaces by complying with local regulations and wearing a face covering - which is required - whenever you're in public areas of the hotel. We do appreciate your support and understanding. We remind you also to practice social distancing, staying at least 6 feet or 2 meters from other guests and hotel associates.
Signage throughout our hotels to remind guests to maintain social distancing, occupancy limits and seating capacities reductions in our public spaces and pools in compliance with local and state mandates, and partitions installed at front desks and food and beverage service lines.

In keeping with Marriott's Commitment to Clean, we have notice made several enhancements to our cleaning practices throughout our property and in guest rooms. These include:

 

  • Enhanced Public Space Cleaning: We have increased the frequency of cleaning and disinfection, especially in high-traffic areas like restrooms, elevators and escalators with an increased number of hand sanitizing stations.
  • Social Distancing Practices: You will see signage throughout the hotel promoting physical distancing and encouraging guests to stand at least 6 feet apart.
  • Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): Associates will wear PPE (e.g., face coverings, gloves, etc.) based on the activities they are performing. Guests are encouraged to wear personal face coverings based upon guidelines from state and local health authorities.
  • Guest Rooms: Every guest room is thoroughly cleaned and disinfected between each guest. We will provide housekeeping services during your stay based upon your request. You can contact us via Mobile Chat or Request in the Marriott Bonvoy app or stop by the front desk. All housekeeping will be conducted while you are away from the room where possible.


Every guest room is thoroughly cleaned and disinfected prior to your arrival. During your stay, we will not provide housekeeping automatically every day. If you wish to receive daily housekeeping refresh service, please let us our guest services team know. We will be happy to make schedule service according to your preferences. Please note that if you are staying with us a bit longer, we will automatically clean your guest room after every 6th night.

We are committed to making the amenities and services at our property available to you while complying with local regulations, including guidance on reducing capacity in public spaces and reinforcing social distancing.

 

The modifications we have made include:

 

  • Overall Operations Newport Beach Hotel & Spa has been set-up for Social Distancing in all public areas. We also require all hotel guests and our staff to wear a facial covering while in the public areas.
  • Fitness Center. Closed until further notice
  • Spa. Closed until further notice
  • Beach Access. Please check California.Gov website for updates
  • Shuttle. Service to Corona Del Mar Beach. Shuttle departs daily on top of each hour. No reservations, first come first serve seating.
  • Use Mobile Phone as Remote Control. Browse the interactive program tv guide and change channels on the tv in your guest room using your mobile phone.
  • Restaurant Hours and Operations. Starbucks daily 6 am-12 pm. Please confirm during check-in, hours of operation may change.
  • Pool Bar - Offering grab and go food, snacks, and beverages. Open Fridays & Saturdays 11 am-5 pm. Please confirm during check-in, hours of operation may change.
