The safety of our guests and associates is a top priority. As guidance regarding face coverings and vaccination verification varies by local jurisdiction and may change, guests should review public information websites for the most up-to-date guidance for your destination, as well as the hotel-specific sections below and US and Canada Travel Advisories | Marriott Bonvoy™ before traveling. Unless it is required by local law or order, fully vaccinated guests are no longer required to wear face coverings or social distance in indoor or outdoor areas of the hotel. We ask that all unvaccinated guests continue to wear face coverings and practice social distancing when they are in public spaces inside the hotel.
At Sheraton Gateway Los Angeles, there is nothing more important than the safety and wellbeing of our guests and associates. That's why considering the current global coronavirus (COVID-19), we've increased our cleaning protocols both in-room and around property. We're maintaining our constant observation of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and World Health Organization's statements regarding the coronavirus (COVID-19), and will continue to provide up-to-date information of all news regarding this matter. We assure you that our commitment to providing a safe and trustworthy hotel experience remains the highest of our priorities.

Effective July 17, 2021, approved face coverings are now required in all public spaces througout our hotel, regardless of vaccination status.

Service requests are delivered right to your door via the Marriott Bonvoy™ mobile app.

In keeping with Marriott's Commitment to Clean, we have made several enhancements to our cleaning practices throughout our property and in guest rooms. These include but are not limited to:

Enhanced Public Space Cleaning: We have increased the frequency of cleaning and disinfection, particularly in areas with high traffic including restrooms, elevators, and escalators as well as provided more hand sanitizing stations.

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): Staff members are required to wear PPE (e.g., face coverings, gloves, etc.) based on the activities they are performing and based on direction by the local authorities. All guests are required to wear personal face coverings.

 

Electrostatic Sprayers: We are currently utilizing electrostatic sprayers in all public areas of the hotel to sanitize and eradicate any potential virus on surfaces or open spaces.

Room Amenities: Disinfectant wipes are available in the room for every arriving guest as well as upon request


Every guest room is thoroughly cleaned and disinfected prior to your arrival. During your stay, we will not provide housekeeping automatically every day. If you wish to receive daily housekeeping refresh service, please let us our guest services team know. We will be happy to make schedule service according to your preferences. Please note that if you are staying with us a bit longer, we will automatically clean your guest room after every 6th night.

We are committed to making the amenities and services at our property available to you while complying with local regulations, including guidance on reducing capacity in public spaces and reinforcing social distancing. The modifications we have made include but are not limited to:

Fitness Center: Open 5:00am - 11:00pm
Local Beaches: Open
Local Golf Courses: Open
Airport Shuttle: 24hrs, every 20 - 30 minutes to/from LAX
Club Lounge: Closed

Pool: Open from 6:00am - 10:00pm daily. Outdoor, heated, for registered guests only and children must be supervised. 

Parking: Valet parking only. $55 + Tax

 

Starbucks: Open from 5:30am to 2:00pm Monday - Thursday and 5:30am to 4:00pm Friday - Sunday

Costero Bar & Bistro: Open Monday - Thursday from 4:00pm to 11:00pm; Open for Lunch and Dinner Friday - Saturday from 12:00pm - 11:00pm 

Brasserie Restaurant: Open for breakfast daily from 6:00am to 11:00am

Club Lounge: Closed

Room Service: Closed

  • Mobile Check-In/Check-Out: Let us know via the app when you are planning to arrive and once you departed.
