Now it's time to kick it up a notch. As part of Marriott International's family of brands, we have implemented a multi-pronged approach to meet the health and safety requirements of our "Commitment to Clean" standards.

We have further raised our already diligent cleaning standards and protocols, while making some tweaks to our services, amenities, and facilities available during your stay.

So here is what you can expect from your stay at Aloft, in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Providing a safer environment for our guests and associates is a top priority. Achieving this is a shared responsibility. Please join us in our efforts to enhance the safety of our public spaces by complying with local regulations, practicing social distancing (staying at least 6 feet or 2 meters from other guests and hotel associates), and wearing face coverings whenever you're in public areas of the hotel. We do appreciate your support and understanding.

Aloft Langkawi Pantai Tengah practices social distancing measures and contactless experience through:

 

  • Signages placed throughout the property to remind guests to maintain social distancing in accordance to Malaysia government guidance.
  • Revised seating capacity in restaurants and lobby area in accordance to Malaysia government guidance.
  • Hand sanitiser stations available at high traffic areas such as main entrance of the hotel, reception and restaurant.
  • Luggage assistance being provided where all bags will be disinfect upon arrival at the hotel.
  • Face masks is mandatory to be worn at all time in the hotel.
  • Guests are encouraged to use of Marriott Bonvoy App for a faster, contactless check-in. Guests will still be required to present ID upon arrival. This will allow us to provide a Mobile Key for guests stay after registration to access their room. Guests may also contact our Guest Service team throughout their stay via app's Mobile Chat or telephone. Invoice will also be available for viewing directly via the app.
  • Maximum of 2 guests are allowed to use the guest lift at a time.
  • All high touch areas and public area are being disinfected every 2 hours.
  • Limited number of guests with allowed in gym, kids club and prayer room (Surau). Guests are required to make reservations prior to using the facilities. Facilities will be disinfect immediately after guest use.
  • Limited number of guests are allowed in the pool. Pool usage are also scheduled throughout for guests use.

In keeping with Marriott's Commitment to Clean, we have made several enhancements to our cleaning practices throughout our property and in guest rooms. These include:

 

  • Enhanced Public Space Cleaning: We have increased the frequency of cleaning and disinfection, particularly in areas with high traffic including restrooms, elevators, and escalators as well as provided more hand sanitizing stations.
  • Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): Staff members will wear PPE (e.g., face coverings, gloves, etc.) based on the activities they are performing and based on direction by the local authorities. Guests are welcome to wear personal face coverings.


Every guest room is thoroughly cleaned and disinfected prior to your arrival. We will provide housekeeping cleaning services after your third night with us and while you are away from the room. If you'd like to receive additional daily cleaning, simply let our team know and we will gladly take care of it.

We are committed to making the amenities and services at our property available to you while complying with local regulations, including guidance on reducing capacity in public spaces and reinforcing social distancing. The modifications we have made include:

 

  • Re:charge: open, face masks required at all time
  • Beach: open
  • Kids Club: open, limited to one family at a time
  • Shuttle to beach: operating as normal schedule
