Now it's time to kick it up a notch. As part of Marriott International's family of brands, we have implemented a multi-pronged approach to meet the health and safety requirements of our "Commitment to Clean" standards.

We have further raised our already diligent cleaning standards and protocols, while making some tweaks to our services, amenities, and facilities available during your stay.

So here is what you can expect from your stay at Aloft, in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.

We have also made a few adjustments to the services, amenities, and facilities available during your stay. Here is what to expect during your stay at Aloft London Excel.

Property Amenities & Services:


We are committed to making the amenities and services at our property available to you while complying with local regulations, including guidance on reducing capacity in public spaces and reinforcing social distancing. The modifications we have made include:

 

  • Fitness Center: Open 24/7 with reduced capacity, face mask if required at all times. Please contact Front Office to book your time slot.
  • Pool: Open from 06.00 AM till 11.00 PM with reduced capacity, please contact Front Office to book your time slot.
  • Sauna: Closed until further notice.


Food & Beverage Offerings:

 

  • Docksider Restaurant: Open daily, mobile menu available. Grab and Go breakfast available.
  • Breakfast: 7am - 10am (Monday - Sunday & Bank Holidays)
  • Lunch: Closed until further notice
  • Dinner: 6pm - 9:30pm (Monday - Sunday & Bank Holidays)

 

  • Re:fuel Grab & Go: Open 24/7 serving sandwiches, salads, light snacks, alcoholic & non-alcoholic beverages.

 

  • Docksider Restaurant Takeaway: Available from 06.00 PM to 10.00 PM daily.

 

  • Room Service: In-Room delivery is not available until further notice.

In keeping with Marriott's Commitment to Clean, we have made several enhancements to our cleaning practices throughout our property and in guest rooms. These include:

 

  • Enhanced Public Space Cleaning: We have increased the frequency of cleaning and disinfection, particularly in areas with high traffic including restrooms, elevators, and escalators as well as provided more hand sanitizing stations.
  • Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): Staff members will wear PPE (e.g., face coverings, gloves, etc.) based on the activities they are performing and based on direction by the local authorities. PPE is available upon request, however guests are welcome to wear personal face coverings.
  • Electrostatic Spraying: We're utilizing enhanced technologies, including electrostatic sprayers with hospital-grade disinfectants, to support our already rigorous cleanliness protocols.
  • Room Amenities: Disinfectant wipes are available in the room for every arriving guest as well as upon request.


Every guest room is thoroughly cleaned and disinfected prior to your arrival. We will provide housekeeping cleaning services after your third night with us and while you are away from the room. If you'd like to receive additional daily cleaning, simply let our team know and we will gladly take care of it.
