Providing a safer environment for our guests and associates is a top priority. Achieving this is a shared responsibility. Please join us in our efforts to enhance the safety of our public spaces by complying with local regulations, practicing social distancing (staying at least 6 feet or 2 meters from other guests and hotel associates), and wearing face coverings whenever you're in public areas of the hotel.   • Signage throughout W Melbourne to remind guests to maintain physical distancing, elevator occupancy limits and seating capacity reductions in our bars, restaurants and events spaces in compliance with local regulations.
  • Hand sanitizer stations will be provided throughout the hotel for guests and Talent use.
  • Face masks are to be worn in public areas of the hotel in compliance with Local Regulations for all guests and Talent. Disposable face masks are provided free of charge in all guest rooms.

In keeping with Marriott's Commitment to Clean, we have made several enhancements to our cleaning practices that will happen throughout our hotel and in guest rooms. These include:

 

  • Enhanced Public Space Cleaning: We have increased the frequency of cleaning and disinfection, particularly in areas with high traffic including WC's, lifts, Living Room, bars and restaurants, FIT and WET, whilst also providing hand sanitizing stations across all areas.
  • Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): Out Talent will wear PPE (e.g., face coverings, gloves, etc.) based on the activities they are performing and based on direction by the local authorities. As per local law guests are to wear personal face coverings. We provide face mask free of charge to the guests.
  • Room Amenities: Keeping with Marriott's Commitment to Clean, we will provide all necessary room amenities. We ensure all amenities are disinfected before you check in. Hand Sanitizer and Face Mask is available in all our guest rooms.
  • Guest Room Cleaning: Every guest room is thoroughly cleaned and disinfected prior to your arrival. We will provide cleaning services from our Style team (Housekeeping) while you are away from the room. If you would like to schedule you room cleaning, simply let our team know and we will gladly take care of it.


Every guest room is thoroughly cleaned and disinfected prior to your arrival. We will provide housekeeping cleaning services after your third night with us and while you are away from the room. If you'd like to receive additional daily cleaning, simply let our team know and we will gladly take care of it.

Hotel Amenities & Services

We are committed to making the amenities and services at W Melbourne available to you while complying with local regulations, including guidance on reducing capacity in public spaces and reinforcing social distancing. The modifications we have made include:

 

  • FIT - level 14 (Fitness Center): To ensure physical distancing, every 2nd piece of fitness equipment will be made available. Guests are required to wipe down equipment prior to use and after use with the supplied sanitizers wipes and sprays. Our Style team (Housekeeping) will conduct enhanced cleaning of FIT every 2 hours. Face masks will be required to be worn walking to and departing from FIT, as guests pass through all public areas. There is a maximum capacity is 20 persons (1 person for every 4sqm).
  • WET - Level 14 (Pool): To ensure physical distancing seating and sun lounges will be reduced. Our Style team (Housekeeping) will conduct enhanced cleaning of WET every 2 hours. Face masks will be required to be worn at all times in WET (excluding when in the pool) and in all public areas. Maximum capacity is 80 persons (1 person for every 4sqm).
  • Wheels - Lower Ground (Valet Parking): Your welcome ambassador will be able to safely and securely look after your wheels. Our welcome ambassadors will be using P.P.E (disposable gloves and face masks) when moving your vehicle.

All of our bars and restaurants have been adapted to comply with the local gathering restrictions of 1 person for every 4sqm / or 1.5 meters between tables and all waiter services provided to the table.
