Providing a safer environment for our guests and associates is a top priority. Achieving this is a shared responsibility. Please join us in our efforts to enhance the safety of our public spaces by complying with local regulations and wearing a face covering - which is required - whenever you're in public areas of the hotel. We do appreciate your support and understanding. We remind you also to practice social distancing, staying at least 6 feet or 2 meters from other guests and hotel associates.

In response to Covid-19, we have implemented the following actions in our hotel to promote social distancing:

 

  • We have placed signage throughout our hotel to remind guests to maintain social distancing.
  • Reduced seating capacity and introduced occupancy limits in our lobby and restaurant in compliance with local and state mandates installed partitions at the front desk and our food and beverage outlet.

Thank you for your understanding in cases where we may have to offer alternative services or products. Maintaining safe social distances is one of the most important measures we can all take to reduce unnecessary contact. Marriott Bonvoy members can use the Marriott Bonvoy™ Mobile App (also available on the App Store and Google Play) to take advantage of contactless options, including:

 

  • Mobile Check-Out: Skip the front desk altogether during your departure using the Marriott Bonvoy™ Mobile App.
  • Mobile Guest Requests: Connect with us via the app to request items you would like delivered to your guest room.
  • Mobile Chat: If we can be of further assistance, please do not hesitate to engage with our team through your Marriott Bonvoy™ Mobile App and chat live.

In keeping with Marriott's Commitment to Clean, we have made several enhancements to our cleaning practices throughout our property and in guest rooms. These include:

 

  • Enhanced Public Space Cleaning: We have increased the frequency of cleaning and disinfection in all high-traffic areas like restrooms and elevators and added hand sanitizing stations throughout the hotel.
  • Social Distancing Practices: You will see signage throughout our hotel promoting social distancing and encouraging guests to stand at least 6 feet apart.
  • Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): Associates are wearing PPE (Face Coverings, Gloves) based on the activities they are performing. According to the latest Miami-Dade County Emergency Order, face masks are required in all public areas throughout the hotel.
  • Guest Rooms: Every guest room is thoroughly cleaned and disinfected prior to your arrival. We are going to limit who comes by your room while you are here with us, which includes housekeeping. In an effort to minimize guest and associate contact, we will not provide daily housekeeping service. If you would like to have someone touch up your room during your stay, please let us know what time you are departing for the day. For guests staying for an extended period of time, housekeeping service will be provided every 7 days.
  • Disinfectant Wipes: Available in each guestroom for every arriving guest.
  • Temperature Screening: We are temperature screening associates and vendors at entry points of the hotel.
  • Electrostatic Spraying: We are utilizing enhanced technologies, including electrostatic sprayers with hospital-grade disinfectants, to support our already rigorous cleanliness protocols in all public spaces.


Every guest room is thoroughly cleaned and disinfected prior to your arrival. During your stay, we will not provide housekeeping automatically every day. If you wish to receive daily housekeeping refresh service, please let our guest services team know. We will be happy to schedule service according to your preferences. Please note that if you are staying with us a bit longer, we will automatically clean your guest room after every 6th night.

We are committed to making the amenities at the SpringHill Suites Miami Downtown/Medical Center available to you while complying with local and state regulations, including guidance on reducing capacity in public spaces and reinforcing social distancing.
