Providing a safer environment for our guests and associates is a top priority. Achieving this is a shared responsibility. Please join us in our efforts to enhance the safety of our public spaces by complying with local regulations and wearing a face covering - which is required - whenever you're in public areas of the hotel. We do appreciate your support and understanding. We remind you also to practice social distancing, staying at least 6 feet or 2 meters from other guests and hotel associates.
The safety and wellbeing of our associates, guests, and members is of paramount importance at JW Marriott Miami Turnberry Resort & Spa. Under the guidance of the CDC, local government and health officials, we've instituted an extensive, multi-point safety and sanitization program.

The resort & waterpark lobbies have non-invasive temperature checks utilizing a thermal temperature camera. Anyone displaying a temperature over 99.5°F will be taken to a private area for a secondary temporal temperature screening. Guests confirmed to have a temperature over 99.5°F will not be allowed entry to the property and will be directed towards appropriate medical care.

Guests are advised to practice physical-social distancing by standing at least six feet away from others not traveling with them in all public areas. Signage throughout the resort kindly reminds guests to do so and to wear face-coverings where required.

Amenities (restaurants, spa, gym & waterpark) adhere to the occupancy limits and seating reductions in compliance with local and state mandates. Plexiglass partitions have been installed at the front desk, retail stores, and additional areas.

JW Marriott Turnberry follows the guidance of the CDC, OSHA, and World Health Organization. The resort has increased its cleaning and sanitizing protocol in all guestrooms and public spaces with the use of a state-of-the-art electrostatic spray system and hospital-grade multi-surface cleaner. The areas include but are not limited to; front desk check-in counters, elevator, and elevator buttons, door handles, public bathrooms, guestroom keys and locks, stair handrails, gym equipment, dining surfaces and seating areas. All bed linen and laundry will continue to be washed at high temperatures and in accordance with CDC guidelines. All public restrooms will be equipped with touch-free devices, including sink, soap and paper towel dispensers.

Touchless hand sanitizer dispensers will be placed at key guest /associate entrances and contact areas such as driveways, reception areas, resort lobby, restaurant entrances, meeting and convention spaces, elevator landings, pools, spa, salons and exercise areas.

Every guest room is thoroughly cleaned and disinfected prior to your arrival. During your stay, we will not provide housekeeping automatically every day. If you wish to receive daily housekeeping refresh service, please let our guest services team know. We will be happy to schedule service according to your preferences. Please note that if you are staying with us a bit longer, we will automatically clean your guest room after every 6th night.
We are committed to making the amenities and services at our property available to you while complying with local regulations, including guidance on reducing capacity in public spaces and reinforcing social distancing. The modifications we have made include:

For the safety and wellbeing of our members, guests, and associates we are following the guidelines from the Centers of Disease Control and Prevention, World Health Organization, The Florida Department of Health, and Miami-Dade County. We ask that follow the guidelines listed below, as we will continue to refine and update the plan as our experts provide us more advice.

 

  • Reservations are required (Bourbon Steak) in order to manage guest capacity
  • A per table party limit of four (4) people must be maintained unless they are members of the same household; which would then allow up to six (6) people maximum
  • Masks are required in public areas and may be removed once you are seated at your table
  • Thermal body temperature checks will be conducted in the resort lobby
  • Guests will be seated in a safe rotation in order to maintain maximum social distancing
  • Seating or standing at the bar will not be available as beverage service will be provided tableside
  • Associated will be utilizing gloves and masks throughout service
  • Tables and chairs will be sanitized after each use and every 60 minutes if not used
  • Tables will be set upon seating
  • Restrooms will be single occupancy only and will be monitored by an attendant

At Tidal Cove Waterpark, the safety of you and your family is absolutely paramount. Considering the public nature of our outlets and attractions within the resort, we take our responsibility toward health and cleanliness extremely seriously. For this reason, in light of COVID-19, we are implementing a new set of stringent protocols and guidelines to keep the waterpark's common spaces and the wellbeing of its guests as safe as possible.

 

  • Thermal camera temperature checks for all guests and associates entering the park
  • Self-dispensing hand sanitizing stations throughout the park
  • Social distancing floor markers
  • Plexiglas barriers at all associate-guest contact counters
  • 50% capacity for Tidal Cove and all subsequent dining areas
  • All chaise lounges in groups of no more than 6 and all groups are spaced at least 6' from one another
  • Sanitation of all chaise lounges between guests with mobile chlorine misters (200ppm)
  • All associates required to wear PPE and to change gloves/wash hands after every guest interaction
