Providing a safer environment for our guests and associates is a top priority. Achieving this is a shared responsibility. Please join us in our efforts to enhance the safety of our public spaces by complying with local regulations, practicing social distancing (staying at least 6 feet or 2 meters from other guests and hotel associates), and wearing face coverings whenever you're in public areas of the hotel. We do appreciate your support and understanding.
Our resort will implement touchless or low-touch solutions and adopt contactless technologies including: Mobile Key, Mobile Chat and guest requests via the Marriott Bonvoy™ app. Guest greetings will be modified to a nod, wave, or a bow, while continuing to ensure guest needs are met.

Guests and associates should practice physical distancing by standing at least 6 feet (2 meters) away from other people not traveling with them. Certain areas, such as arrival queues or gathering areas will be marked with signage and, if necessary, one-way guest traffic flow will be indicated. Where applicable, lobby furniture, restaurant layouts, and other public seating areas will be reconfigured. We are happy to work to customize seating capacities and room sets to meet individual distancing needs of group customers.

Emphasis on Hygiene & Cleanliness: Our resort will be required to have a hygiene plan; associates will be required to be aware of and follow for personal hygiene, physical distancing and PPE, in compliance with all local public health guidance. Hand sanitizing stations for guest use will be placed in all high-traffic areas and public spaces.

Cleanliness Training: We're building on our reputation for high standards of resort cleanliness with well-established cleaning processes. In addition, each property is required to have a Cleanliness Champion to help lead the resort in how it can ensure a clean environment for guests and associates. Additionally, associates will be required to take training on COVID-19 and sanitation protocols.

Providing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): All associates that wear a Marriott badge will wear a face covering as a part of their uniforms. Guests should wear personal face masks or coverings and should abide by local regulations. Personal face masks and additional amenity items such as hand sanitizer, disinfecting wipes and gloves, may be offered where available.

On-Site PCR Testing: Aligned with expert protocols and led by Marriott's Cleanliness Council, The St. Regis Maldives Vommuli Resort is able to take PCR test swabs directly at the resort three days prior to departure.

Following the most recent requirements from certain airlines and countries for their travelers, the resort is facilitating PCR testing which will be carried out by our well-trained medical team on site. The resort doctor will receive the test results electronically and inform guests through their personal Butler prior to departure. PCR testing for guests costs USD 165/- + Tax.

 

We are deploying terms and conditions in order for our team to prioritize and arrange the testing for our valued guests:

 

  • Reservations for PCR testing should be made latest 72 hours prior to departure.
  • Departing guests who require a negative PCR certificate to return to their home country or final destination will be prioritized.


Every guest room is thoroughly cleaned and disinfected between each guest. We will continue to provide housekeeping services daily while you are away from the room. If you have any specific housekeeping preferences or would like to not receive housekeeping service during your stay, please contact guest services at any time.
  • Iridium Spa: Open.
  • Infinity Pool: Limited operational hours between 11 am to 6 pm.
  • Socialite: Open.
  • Vommuli Dive & Water Sports Centre: Open.
  • Tennis Court: Closed in October.
  • IVAR Boutique: Open on call request.
  • Saloon: Closed in October and November.
  • Yoga Classes: Closed in October.
  • Blue Hydrotherapy Pool: Service offered only on private basis.
  • ALBA: Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. We do not offer a breakfast buffet, but will offer an a la carte menu instead.
  • Crust & Craft: Open for lunch.
  • The Whale Bar: Open for drinks. Limited operational hours between 5:30 pm to 8.30 pm.
  • In-Villa Dining: Open for 24 hours.
  • Cargo: Closed. 
  • Orientale: Closed. The Signatures dishes of Orientale will be available at ALBA at dinner time.
  • Decanter: Open. Only for private dinner.
