The safety of our guests and associates is a top priority. As guidance regarding face coverings and vaccination verification varies by local jurisdiction and may change, guests should review public information websites for the most up-to-date guidance for your destination, as well as the hotel-specific sections below and US and Canada Travel Advisories | Marriott Bonvoy™ before traveling. Unless it is required by local law or order, fully vaccinated guests are no longer required to wear face coverings or social distance in indoor or outdoor areas of the hotel. We ask that all unvaccinated guests continue to wear face coverings and practice social distancing when they are in public spaces inside the hotel.

Consistent with the most recent local mandates from Orleans Parish, regardless of vaccination status, wearing a mask or face covering indoors is currently mandated for everyone. Proof of vaccination or a negative COVID test within 72 hours is not required to check into the hotel.

Beginning Monday, Aug. 16, all individuals 12 years of age and older must provide one of the following prior to sitting at the hotel's indoor restaurant(s) and bar(s): 1) Vaccination: Evidence of having received at least one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine that has received full approval or emergency use authorization from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration or the World Health Organization, or 2) Negative Test Results: Evidence of a negative COVID-19 PCR test taken no more than 72 hours prior.


Signage throughout our hotels to remind guests to wear face masks, maintain social distancing, occupancy limits and seating capacities reductions in our restaurants in compliance with local and state mandates, and partitions installed at front desks and food and beverage service lines.

Mobile check-in and key, service requests, and room service orders delivered right to your door or available for pick up via the Marriott Bonvoy™ mobile app.

In keeping with Marriott's Commitment to Clean, we have made several enhancements to our cleaning practices throughout our property and in guest rooms. These include:


  • Enhanced Public Space Cleaning: We have increased the frequency of cleaning and disinfection, particularly in areas with high traffic including restrooms, elevators, and escalators as well as provided more hand sanitizing stations.
  • Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): Staff members will wear PPE (e.g., face coverings, gloves, etc.) based on the activities they are performing and based on direction by the local authorities. Guests are required by city ordinance and hotel policy to wear personal face coverings.
  • Electrostatic Spraying: We're utilizing enhanced technologies, including electrostatic sprayers with hospital-grade disinfectants, to support our already rigorous cleanliness protocols.

Room Amenities


  • In-room coffee makers are not currently in guest rooms upon arrival, but guests can request contactless coffee delivery for use during their stay.
  • Disinfectant wipes are available in the room for every arriving guest as well as upon request

Every guest room is thoroughly cleaned and disinfected prior to your arrival. During your stay, we will not provide housekeeping automatically every day. If you wish to receive daily housekeeping refresh service, please let us our guest services team know. We will be happy to make schedule service according to your preferences. Please note that if you are staying with us a bit longer, we will automatically clean your guest room after every 6th night.

We are committed to making the amenities and services at our property available to you while complying with local regulations, including guidance on reducing capacity in public spaces and reinforcing social distancing. The modifications we have made include:


  • Fitness Center: Open
  • Pelican Bar - Lobby Lounge and Restaurant
  • Our Sheraton Club Lounge is open daily with beverages and snacks.
  • Rooftop pool is temporarily closed for repairs.

The following modifications have been made; however, please contact the hotel directly for the most up-to-date information on current hours of operation for hotel outlets as they may have changed from the information listed below.


  • Roux Bistro is serving breakfast daily.
  • Starbucks is open daily from 6 am - 1 pm.
  • The Pelican Bar will be serving Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner and Snack items each day from 6 am - 11 pm each day.
  • In Room Dining is available for contactless delivery to your guest room between 6 am and 11 pm each day.

Marriott Bonvoy Member Benefits: We are committed to delivering the Marriott Bonvoy benefits for your membership level. Thank you for your understanding in cases where we may have to offer an alternative.

Marriott Bonvoy members are invited to use the Marriott Bonvoy App (available on the App Store and Google Play) to take advantage of contactless options, including:


  • Mobile Check-In/Check-Out: Let us know via the app when you are planning to arrive and once you have departed.
  • Mobile Key: Forgo the front desk altogether and go straight to your guest room.
  • Mobile Dining: Order your private, in-room dining through the app.
  • Mobile Guest Requests: Connect with us via the app to request items you would like delivered to your guest room.

  • Welcome Gift: Platinum, Titanium and Ambassador members will have the choice of 1,000 Marriott Bonvoy Points or breakfast in Roux Bistro. Gold members will receive 500 Marriott Bonvoy Points.
  • Late Check-Out: Will be available according the program standards by level.
