Providing a safer environment for our guests and associates is a top priority. Achieving this is a shared responsibility. Please join us in our efforts to enhance the safety of our public spaces by complying with local regulations, practicing social distancing (staying at least 6 feet or 2 meters from other guests and hotel associates), and wearing face coverings whenever you're in public areas of the hotel. We do appreciate your support and understanding.
Sheraton Grand Mirage Resort, Gold Coast is committed to providing a safe and healthy environment for all guests and associates.

We have implemented a range of precautionary measures including signage throughout our resort to maintain social distancing, hand sanitizer stations in high-traffic areas, implementing face masks to be worn by all associates and limiting the number of guests within our resort including restaurants and bars in compliance with local and state mandates.

We also encourage the use of the Marriott Bonvoy App for a faster, contactless check-in. You will still be required to present ID on arrival.

To ensure the safety of our guests and associates our valet parking service is temporarily closed.

In keeping with Marriott's Commitment to Clean, we have made several enhancements to our cleaning practices throughout our property and in guest rooms. These include:

 

  • Enhanced Public Space Cleaning: We have increased the frequency of cleaning and disinfection, particularly in areas with high traffic and have provided hand sanitizing stations throughout the resort.
  • Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): Staff members will wear PPE (facemasks, gloves etc.) based on the activities they are performing and based on direction by the local authorities. Guests are welcome to wear personal face coverings.
  • Electrostatic Spraying: We're utilizing enhanced technologies, including electrostatic sprayers with hospital-grade disinfectants, to support our already rigorous cleanliness protocols.
  • Room Amenities: So you can focus on what's most important, we carefully prepare for your arrival by thoroughly disinfecting your room in line with our high standards of cleaning including: mini bars, coffee machines and kettles, bathroom surfaces, buttons and switches, doors and handles, electronics and telephones and television remote control.

For peace of mind, we also provide sanitizing wipes in your guest room during your stay with us.

Every guest room is thoroughly cleaned and disinfected prior to your arrival. We will provide housekeeping cleaning services after your third night with us and while you are away from the room. If you'd like to receive additional daily cleaning, simply let our team know and we will gladly take care of it.

We are committed to making the amenities and services at our property available to you while complying with local and state regulations, including guidance on reducing capacity in public spaces and reinforcing social distancing. The modifications we have made include:

 

  • Fitness Center: Guest access from 6am - 6pm. Key required for access. Induction required on arrival.
  • Enhanced cleaning protocols undertaken and social distancing measures in place.
  • Swimming Pool: Open, furniture has been arranged to abide by social distancing regulations.
  • Business Center: Open, limited capacity with partitions installed for guest safety.
  • Valet Parking: Temporarily closed.
  • Mirage Beach: Open.
  • Room Service: Open.

All of our resort restaurants and bars have a COVID safe plan endorsed by the Queensland Government.

We are committed to providing you, our valued customer, with a safe environment that aligns with expert protocols working to defeat COVID-19. When you arrive at our restaurants and bars you will notice a number of additions to our regimen designed to set a higher standard of cleanliness, these include:

 

  • All associates wearing PPE (face masks, gloves etc.), sanitizing stations on arrival, restaurant and bar seating plans that follow social distancing guidelines, capacity restrictions, separate entry and exit paths, removal of self serve buffet stations, guest sign ins for contact tracing purposes, dishwashers are set to over 85 degrees to sanitise all cutlery and crockery, elevated sanitization of high contact areas.

Terraces Restaurant: From the finest, freshest seafood and local produce to the fresh coastal ambience, Terraces Restaurant serves as the ideal dining space for every occasion. Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. High Tea available.
 
  • Breakfast: 6am - 10:30am
  • Lunch: 12pm - 3pm
  • Dinner: 5:30pm - 10pm

Oyster Bar and Grill: Focused on the ideals of fresh, local seafood, Oyster bar and Grill features a modern menu in stylish surrounds. Open for dinner.
 
  • Friday and Saturday: 5:30pm - 10pm

Pearls Bar: Enhanced by its eclectic décor and warm mood lighting, Pearls Bar is the place to meet, eat and drink. Open for light restaurant fare, an expertly crafted cocktail and other beverages.
  • Friday: 4pm - 11pm
  • Saturday: 4pm - 11pm
  • Sunday: 12pm - 8pm

Oasis Pool Bar: For hotel guests staying at Sheraton Grand Mirage, enjoy exclusive access to the Oasis Pool Bar. Open for lunch, cocktails and ice creams

We are undertaking the following efforts to create safe meetings and events and stays at our hotel:

Separate registration areas, guest check ins to assist with contact tracing efforts, customised floor plans with seating capacities reviewed for each individual events, modified buffets and packaged options coordinated across groups to manage traffic, disinfecting tables between use and frequent cleaning in high traffic areas and during breaks.
