As part of Marriott International's family of brands, we have implemented a multi-pronged approach to meet the health and safety requirements of our "Commitment to Clean" standards. We have further raised our already diligent cleaning standards and protocols, while making some tweaks to our services, amenities, and facilities available during your stay.

The safety of our guests and associates is a top priority. As guidance regarding face coverings and vaccination verification varies by local jurisdiction and may change, guests should review public information websites for the most up-to-date guidance for your destination, as well as the hotel-specific sections below and US and Canada Travel Advisories | Marriott Bonvoy™ before traveling. Unless it is required by local law or order, fully vaccinated guests are no longer required to wear face coverings or social distance in indoor or outdoor areas of the hotel. We ask that all unvaccinated guests continue to wear face coverings and practice social distancing when they are in public spaces inside the hotel.
We have streamlined the check-in experience at the ground level entrance with plexiglass partition at the front desk and social distancing signage throughout the hotel. Mobile check-in and mobile key is available via the Marriott Bonvoy™ app. To comply with regulations, Mobile Key is available after positive ID and credit card verification at the front desk.

In keeping with Marriott's Commitment to Clean, we have made several enhancements to our cleaning practices throughout our property and in guest rooms. These include:

Enhanced Public Space Cleaning: We have increased the frequency of cleaning and disinfection, particularly in areas with high traffic including restrooms, elevators, and escalators as well as provided more hand sanitizing stations.

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): Staff members will wear PPE (e.g., face coverings, gloves, etc.) based on the activities they are performing and based on direction by the local guidelines. Guests must wear personal face coverings within all indoor public spaces.

Guest Rooms: Every guest room is thoroughly cleaned and disinfected prior to your arrival. During your stay, we will not provide housekeeping services until the 4th day of your stay. For everyone's protection, all guests must vacate the room prior to any housekeeping service.

If you wish to receive daily housekeeping refresh service, please let us our guest services team know. We will be happy to make schedule service according to your preferences. Please note that if you are staying with us a bit longer, we will automatically clean your guest room after every 6th night.

We are committed to making the amenities and services at our property available to you while complying with local regulations, including guidance on reducing capacity in public spaces and reinforcing social distancing. The modifications we have made include:


  • Fitness Center: Open from 6am - 10pm. Social distancing and face coverings are required per city regulations.
  • Lobby: Our Main Lobby is open for registered hotel guests only. Non-registered visitors are not permitted. Social distancing and face coverings are required in all hotel spaces. Philadelphia has a cap on number of people allowed at one time in inside spaces.
  • Valet: We are not offering valet at this time. The closest self-parking location is at The Convention Center Parking Facility 1324-42 Arch St. You may find it easier to park prior to check in as many streets in Philadelphia are one way.
  • WXYZ Bar and the kitchen are currently closed. Our Re:fuel pantry is open and available with grab and go snacks. Beer, wine and packaged cocktails are available at the front desk.
W XYZ and Re:Fuel are currently closed. We offer guests a limited selection of packaged snacks and drinks 24/7 on the ground level. We are happy to provide food and beverage recommendations for the surrounding area, including Trader Joes grocery and Reading Terminal Market both conveniently located within walking distance. In addition, guests can enjoy Philadelphia's great cuisine delivered to our hotel. We have a designated no touch delivery area by our front desk.
Marriott Bonvoy Member Benefits: We are committed to delivering the Marriott Bonvoy benefits for your membership level. Thank you for your understanding in cases where we may have to offer an alternative.

Marriott Bonvoy members are invited to use the Marriott Bonvoy App (available on the App Store and Google Play) to take advantage of contactless options, including:

  • Mobile Check-In/Check-Out: Let us know via the app when you are planning to arrive and once you departed.
  • Mobile Key: Forgo the front desk altogether and go straight to your guest room.
  • Mobile Dining: Order your private, in-room dining through the app.
  • Mobile Guest Requests: Connect with us via the app to request items you would like delivered to your guest room.

To comply with social distancing and density regulations, guests are limited to two persons per bed. Exceptions are made for families with minor children. Visitors are not permitted at this time. All occupants of a room must be registered.
