Providing a safer environment for our guests and associates is a top priority. Achieving this is a shared responsibility. Please join us in our efforts to enhance the safety of our public spaces by complying with local regulations and wearing a face covering -- which is required -- whenever you're in public areas of the property. We do appreciate your support and understanding. We remind you also to practice social distancing, staying at least 6 feet or 2 meters from other guests and associates.
A full spectrum of social distancing guidelines have been implemented throughout each property, including:

  • Altered traffic flow to support 6-foot spacing
  • Removed brochure racks
  • Removed unnecessary furnishings
  • Installation of signage across the property campus to remind Owners, guests, and associates of social distancing requirements.
  • Reduction of seating in common areas, such as lobbies
  • Closure of every other stall in common area restrooms
  • Limitations on occupancy in fitness centers and removal of certain equipment, where applicable.
  • Reductions in pool deck seating, where applicable
  • Continued closure of activities centers and kid's clubs. where applicable
In keeping with Our Next Level of Clean and Marriott's Commitment to Clean, we have made several enhancements to our cleaning practices throughout our property and accommodations. These include:

Enhanced Public Space Cleaning. With increased frequency and enhanced cleaning tools, you'll get a heightened level of clean and health safety throughout shared areas. You will find hand sanitizer stations at high-traffic public spaces like the lobby, front desk, elevator landings, food & beverage entrances and fitness center entrances.

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). All associates will wear PPE (e.g., face coverings, gloves, etc.) based on the activities they are performing and based on direction by the local authorities.

Electrostatic Spraying. We're utilizing enhanced technologies, including electrostatic sprayers with hospital-grade disinfectants, to support our already rigorous cleanliness protocols.

Your Clean Home Away from Home

All of your private vacation spaces now undergo an even more robust regimen of cleaning protocols.

  • Hospital-grade disinfectants are used in every villa/room, before every check-in.
  • Disinfectant wipes are available in the villa/room for every arriving guest as well as upon request.
  • Each villa/room is thoroughly cleaned and disinfected, with particular attention paid to high-touch surfaces, such as light switches, door handles, remote controls, countertops, climate controls, and appliance doors using hospital-grade disinfectants
  • Removal and replacement of all unused linen/terry from villas/rooms
  • Removal and replacement of all unused bathroom amenities, such as soap and shampoo
  • Removal and replacement of all opened paper products, such as toilet and facial tissues
  • In support of continued enhanced public area cleaning, enhanced villa/room departure cleans, and for the health and safety of property associates, daily housekeeping service, such as daily tidies, is currently unavailable.

IMPORTANT UPDATE: The Public Health Officer of the State of California issued a Regional Stay at Home Order on December 3, 2020 ("Order"), which provides for criteria that, when met for a specific region of California, implements prohibitions of the Order for that region of California. The Order, among other things, prohibits most travel in a region of California in which the criteria has been met. As of Sunday, December 6, 2020, the region that includes the resort has met the criteria for travel limitations to be enacted. As a result, Owners and guests whose reservation will be cancelled or otherwise impacted are being notified accordingly.

Please note that Owners and guests traveling to the resort will be required to complete an acknowledgment upon arrival to the resort certifying that their stay at the resort is in compliance with the Order.

Important Alerts
While at the resort, please remember to maintain social distancing (6-feet or more from other Owners, guests and associates). The use of face coverings is required, including at the pool areas, when not in the water. This includes when seated in chaise loungers or other seating areas, per guidance from the State of California. Please avoid leaving your villa if during your stay you do not feel well.

IMPORTANT NOTICE REGARDING THE WESTIN MISSION HILLS GOLF RESORT & SPA:

As of July 15, 2020, the adjacent Westin Mission Hills Golf Resort & Spa is no longer managed by Marriott International. With this change, access to the adjacent resort is not currently available by shuttle or walking path.

  • To access the golf course, or restaurants at the Westin Mission Hills Golf Resort & Spa, Villas Owners and guests may drive to the resort or walk along Dinah Shore Drive to the main entrance. Parking may be validated with purchases at these outlets.
  • Room charges for purchases at the Westin Mission Hills Golf Resort & Spa are not currently available.
  • Pools at the adjacent resort are not currently available to Westin Mission Hills Resort Villas Owners and guests.
  • Please use only the Paradise Pool at the Westin Mission Hills Resort Villas, which is available by reservation due to COVID-19 protocols. The East Pool is currently closed and will reopen on February 12, 2021.
  • The Westin Mission Hills Golf Resort & Spa does offer day passes for a fee. Please contact The Westin Mission Hills Golf Resort & Spa for availability and pricing.
  • Shuttle Service is not available to/from the Westin Mission Hills Golf Resort & Spa.

 

Parking Information
Parking for Nightly Rental Guests:
Effective January 01, 2021, the parking fee will be:
$20 - 1st Vehicle
$35 - 2nd Vehicle

Please contact the resort in advance to arrange parking for the 2nd vehicle. Please note: Parking is not available on site for larger vehicles such as motorhomes, vehicles with trailers, watercraft or similar. Please contact the property in advance for assistance.

Even where not government-mandated, face coverings are required in all indoor public areas and recommended for outdoor public areas at our vacation properties throughout North America, Latin America, and the Caribbean.

At The Westin Mission Hills Resort Villas, Palm Springs, enjoy complimentary wireless Internet in all villas and public areas. We also do not charge resort fees.

  • Vacations Together: You can control your vacation environment in a spacious villa with the conveniences of home. A typical two-bedroom comfortably accommodates family or friends in more than 1,100 square feet, giving everyone their own space.
  • Private Balconies: Most villas include a generously sized private balcony or patio, great for sipping coffee, eating meals, or just relaxing in the fresh air.
  • Villa Cooking: For easy meals in, a fully equipped kitchen (or well-equipped kitchenette in smaller villas) lets you make your favorite dishes or snacks anytime. Or warm up those restaurant leftovers.
  • Comfortable Meals In: A villa gives you options to eat in your space, on your schedule. You might choose to cook, grab take-out, or get delivery, eating relaxed meals at your family-sized table. Or dine ‘out' on your own balcony.
  • Laundry: Most villas include a convenient washer/dryer, so you can have clean clothes (and dry bathing suits) all vacation long. Or if you're flying, pack less.
  • Living Areas: After days venturing off the beaten path, you can unwind together in your comfortable living room or on your outdoor balcony.
