Providing a safer environment for our guests and associates is a top priority. Achieving this is a shared responsibility.  Please join us in our efforts to continue to enhance the safety of our public spaces by complying with local regulations, practicing social distancing (staying at least 6 feet or 2 meters from other guests and hotel associates).  We appreciate your support and understanding.

The resort has undertaken a number of steps to help ensure the comfort and care of our guests and our hosts, including:


  • Reduced capacity in public spaces to reinforce social distancing. We have occupancy limits and reduced seating capabilities in our restaurants.
  • Airport transfer available via Concierge.
  • Luggage cleaning, hand sanitizing and shoe sanitizing mats available upon arrival.
  • Mobile Check-in available via Marriott Bonvoy app.
  • Housekeeping services can be scheduled upon arrival for your convenience
  • Valet Parking is available
In keeping with Marriott's Commitment to Clean, we have notice made several enhancements to our cleaning practices throughout our property and in guest rooms. These include:

Scheduled Housekeeping: Housekeeping services are in operation, however, to ensure that social distancing is maintained, and guests have vacated the room before housekeeping personnel enters, the Front Office team will schedule a time at your convenience to perform the cleaning upon check-in.

Enhanced Public Space Cleaning: We have increased the frequency of cleaning and disinfection, particularly in areas with high traffic including beach club area, pools, restrooms, as well as provided more hand sanitizing stations.

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): Staff members will wear PPE (e.g., face coverings, gloves, etc.) based on the activities they are performing and based on direction by the local authorities. Guests are welcome to wear personal face coverings.
Every guest room is thoroughly cleaned and disinfected between each guest. We will continue to provide housekeeping services daily while you are away from the room. If you have any specific housekeeping preferences or would like to not receive housekeeping service during your stay, please contact guest services at any time.

We are committed to making the amenities and services at our property available to you while complying with local regulations, including guidance on reducing capacity in public spaces and reinforcing social distancing. The modifications we have made include:


  • La Tortuga children's club: Available from 10:00 am to 4:30 pm at Marietas beach.
  • Beach Club: Sea Breeze beach club is open
  • Restaurants: Mita Mary Bistro Boat, Carolina, Marietas are open.
  • Private Dining (Room Service) is available 24/7

  • Exercise Room: Open with appointments
  • Pools and Jacuzzi: All pools are open
  • Beach and Ocean: Beach and ocean available
  • Golf: Open, please note due to renewals and improvements, our two golf courses will remain closed during the upcoming months (Pacifico from April to November 2021 and Bahia from April to November 2022). Please contact the reservations or concierge team for more information and to schedule your next game.
  • Tennis: Open
  • Boutique: Open

  • Arecas/Marietas: 12:00 pm - 5:00 pm (pool service from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm)
  • Altamira Cantina Gourmet: 5:00 pm - 11:00 pm

The safety and well-being of our guests are of paramount importance to us. Therefore The St. Regis Punta Mita can help you book a COVID-19 Test. The cost for an Antigen test is US 30.00 + VAT and it should be booked 48hrs in advance.
