Providing a safer environment for our guests and associates is a top priority. Achieving this is a shared responsibility. Please join us in our efforts to enhance the safety of our public spaces by complying with local regulations and wearing a face covering - which is required - whenever you're in public areas of the hotel. We do appreciate your support and understanding. We remind you also to practice social distancing, staying at least 6 feet or 2 meters from other guests and hotel associates.

Signage throughout our hotels to remind guests to maintain social distancing, occupancy limits and seating capacities reductions in our restaurants in compliance with local and state mandates, and partitions installed at front desks and food and beverage service lines.


Mobile check-in and service request are available via the Marriott Bonvoy™ mobile app.

In keeping with Marriott's Commitment to Clean, we have made several enhancements to our cleaning practices throughout our property and in guest rooms. These include:

 

  • Provide disinfectant wipes to guests at check in
  • Readily available masks for guests if needed
  • Promote Social Distancing with proper signage and reduced capacity limits
  • Free standing hand sanitation stations throughout all public areas
  • Disinfectant wipe stations strategically placed throughout hotel
  • Enhanced cleaning and disinfecting of all touch points and public areas
  • Temperature checks are taken for each employee prior to their shift
  • All staff wear protective face coverings

 

Guest Room Cleaning Procedures:

 

  • Employees do not enter occupied guest rooms
  • Daily full housekeeping services have been altered to every 5 days unless requested
  • Additional or replacement items such as linens and toiletries will be delivered upon request
  • Electrostatic sprayers are used after each guest departure
  • Antimicrobial Germ fighting TV remote controls are now used in every guestroom. Each remote is thoroughly disinfected after each guest departure


Room Amenities:

 

  • Coffee makers are available in each guest room
  • Disinfectant wipes are given to each guest at check in and are available upon request.


Every guest room is thoroughly cleaned and disinfected prior to your arrival. During your stay, we will not provide housekeeping automatically every day. If you wish to receive daily housekeeping refresh service, please let us our guest services team know. We will be happy to schedule service according to your preferences. Please note that if you are staying with us a bit longer, we will automatically clean your guest room after every 6th night.

We are committed to making the amenities and services at our property available to you while complying with local regulations, including guidance on reducing capacity in public spaces and reinforcing social distancing. In accordance with the San Diego County Ordinance, the following are temporarily closed:

 

  • Humphreys La Jolla Grill
  • Fitness Center
  • Jacuzzi

Shooters Bar and Grill: Open for meal and beverage service.

  • Mobile Check-In/Check-Out: Let us know via the app when you are planning to arrive and once you departed.
  • Mobile Key: Forgo the front desk altogether and go straight to your guest room.
  • Mobile Dining: Order your private, in-room dining through the app.
  • Mobile Guest Requests: Connect with us via the app to request items you would like delivered to your guest room.

  • Breakfast: Platinum/Elite members receive choice of one: yogurt parfait, avocado toast or classic breakfast. Choice of juice or coffee. For pick up only in Shooters Bar & Grill, can eat on patio. 7am - 9am.
  • Lounge Access: Platinum/Elite members receive choice of one: lettuce cup, fish taco or chicken ribbons. Choice of 2 beverages to include draft beer, house wine or non-alcoholic beverage. For pick up or can be eaten on the patio 5pm - 8pm.
  • Welcome Gift: Platinum/Elite members receive 500 Marriott Rewards Points.
  • Late Check-Out: 4pm for Platinum/Elite members.
