The safety of our guests and associates is a top priority. As guidance regarding face coverings and vaccination verification varies by local jurisdiction and may change, guests should review public information websites for the most up-to-date guidance for your destination, as well as the hotel-specific sections below and US and Canada Travel Advisories | Marriott Bonvoy™ before traveling. Unless it is required by local law or order, fully vaccinated guests are no longer required to wear face coverings or social distance in indoor or outdoor areas of the hotel. We ask that all unvaccinated guests continue to wear face coverings and practice social distancing when they are in public spaces inside the hotel.

The Westin San Diego Downtown is committed to our Guests Safety & Comfort. We are responsibly acting with in all CDC and County guidelines to ensure your meeting is set up for success.

 

  • Focused training for our Associates on latest CDC guidelines & best practices from Marriott International.
  • All Associates will undergo a daily symptom check.
  • Refreshed training for all staff on social distancing, sanitization procedures & health-minded service.
  • Public Space & elevator sanitization program implemented.
  • Strengthened partnership with Ecolab, a national cleaning chemical supplier to increase training and ensure latest science is part of our cleaning routine.

In keeping with Marriott's Commitment to Clean, we have made several enhancements to our cleaning practices throughout our property and in guest rooms. These include:

Housekeeping Service:

 

  • For extended stay guests, our housekeeping department will arrange for a scheduled refresh service for your room.
  • Light touch housekeeping stayover service to be provided daily throughout stay.

Every guest room is thoroughly cleaned and disinfected prior to your arrival. If you wish to receive daily housekeeping refresh service, please let our guest services team know. We will be happy to schedule service according to your preferences. Please note that if you are staying with us a bit longer, we will automatically clean your guest room after every 6th night.

We are committed to making the amenities and services at our property available to you while complying with local regulations, including guidance on reducing capacity in public spaces and reinforcing social distancing. The modifications we have made include:

 

  • Fitness Center: Open
  • Pool: Open from 6AM - 10PM
  • Spa: Open
  • Beach: Open
  • Shuttle: Operating on normal schedule
  • Parking: Offsite self parking

 

Aroma Grab and Go: Open from 6AM to 1PM daily offering a full menu of breakfast, lunch and dinner items, as well as snacks and beverages.

The Bar: Open from 4PM to 11PM Sunday - Thursday; 4PM to 12AM Friday - Saturday

Coast Restaurant: Open for a la carte breakfast and lunch Wednesday - Friday from 7AM to 1PM; Open for buffet breakfast only, Saturday - Sunday from 7AM to 11AM.
