Providing a safer environment for our guests and associates is a top priority. Achieving this is a shared responsibility. Please join us in our efforts to enhance the safety of our public spaces by complying with local regulations, practicing social distancing (staying at least 6 feet or 2 meters from other guests and hotel associates), and wearing face coverings whenever you’re in public areas of the hotel. We do appreciate your support and understanding.

At THE PLAZA, your safety and the cleanliness and hygiene of the hotel are of paramount importance to us.


  • Installing thermal imaging cameras at hotel entrance to monitor body temperatures
  • Recording the body temperatures of all visitors and in-house guests
  • Conducting enhanced sanitization of all public spaces
  • Providing hand sanitizer in public spaces
  • Mandating the wearing of face masks by all associates, visitors and guests
  • We are using signage in public spaces to remind guests to maintain social distancing protocols
  • Elevator capacities have been limited to one family or group of travelers per ride
  • Guests are using self-swipe card terminals
  • Exclusive guest passport holders are provided
  • Conducting regular UV box sterilization of room keys
  • Contactless room service has been introduced
  • Tables have been re-arranged to allow appropriate space for distancing
  • Single-use disinfecting wipes are provided

We are committed to observing all applicable guidelines issued by the World Health Organization and Korean health authorities. The wellbeing of our guests and associates is of paramount importance at all times.

In keeping with Marriott's Commitment to Clean, we have made several enhancements to our cleaning practices throughout our property and in guest rooms. These include:


  • Enhanced Public Space Cleaning: We have increased the frequency of cleaning and disinfection, particularly in areas with high traffic including restrooms, elevators, and escalators as well as provided more hand sanitizing stations.
  • Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): Staff members will wear PPE (e.g., face coverings, gloves, etc.) based on the activities they are performing and based on direction by the local authorities. All vendors and employees entering the building are getting temperature checks.
  • Electrostatic Spraying: We're utilizing enhanced technologies, including electrostatic sprayers with hospital-grade disinfectants, to support our already rigorous cleanliness protocols.
  • Room Amenities: Provision of printed materials in guest rooms has been minimized. Disinfectant wipes are available in the room for every arriving guest as well as upon request.

Every guest room is thoroughly cleaned and disinfected prior to your arrival. We will provide housekeeping cleaning services after your third night with us and while you are away from the room. If you’d like to receive additional daily cleaning, simply let our team know and we will gladly take care of it.

We are committed to making the amenities and services at our property available to you while complying with local regulations, including guidance on reducing capacity in public spaces and reinforcing social distancing.
