Providing a safer environment for our guests and associates is a top priority. Achieving this is a shared responsibility. Please join us in our efforts to enhance the safety of our public spaces by complying with local regulations and wearing a face covering - which is required - whenever you're in public areas of the hotel. Clear signage is present throughout our hotel to remind guests to maintain social distancing, wear face masks properly in public spaces, and capacity guidelines.

Partitions are installed at the Welcome desk and sanitation stations are placed throughout public areas.

Takeout menus can be accessed via a QR code in the guest rooms and Living Room, and delivery order by appropriate service provider can be picked up in the Living Room.

In compliance with local guidelines, the fitness center will re-open when allowed, with signage to promote social distancing and dedicated fitness attendants to monitor capacity and clean frequently.

In keeping with Marriott's Commitment to Clean, W San Francisco has made several enhancements to our cleaning practices throughout our property and in guest rooms. These include:


Enhanced Public Space Cleaning: We have increased the frequency of cleaning and disinfection, particularly in areas with high traffic including restrooms, elevators, and the lobby, as well as provided hand sanitizing stations prominently available in public areas.

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): Staff members will wear PPE (e.g. face coverings, gloves, etc.) based on the activities they are performing and based on direction by the local authorities. Per Marriott and local and state mandates, all guests must wear personal face coverings while in public spaces.

Electrostatic Spraying: We're utilizing enhanced technologies, including electrostatic sprayers with hospital-grade disinfectants, to support our already rigorous cleanliness protocols in public spaces.
 

Rooms:

 

  • Disinfectant wipes and personal hand sanitizers are available in the room for every arriving guest as well as upon request.
  • All guestrooms will only have single-use cups in room.
  • Every guest room is thoroughly cleaned and disinfected between each guest. We will continue to provide housekeeping services daily while you are away from the room. If you have any specific housekeeping preferences or would like to not receive housekeeping service during your stay, please contact guest services at any time.


Every guest room is thoroughly cleaned and disinfected prior to your arrival. During your stay, we will not provide housekeeping automatically every day. If you wish to receive daily housekeeping refresh service, please let us our guest services team know. We will be happy to schedule service according to your preferences. Please note that if you are staying with us a bit longer, we will automatically clean your guest room after every 6th night.

We are committed to making the amenities and services at our property available to you while complying with local regulations, including guidance on opening dates and reducing capacity in public spaces to practice social distancing. The modifications we have made include:

 

  • Private Dining: No In-Room Dining service thru the hotel. Food and Beverage can be order thru other delivery services.
  • Valet: Open with mobile payment option.
  • Fitness Center: FIT open at 25% capacity. Hours: 24 Hours, 7 days a week.
  • Spa/Wet Facilities/Pool: No available at our property.
  • Living Room Bar: Closed until further notice, per city guidelines.
  • TRACE Restaurant: Closed until further notice, per city guidelines.
