Providing a safer environment for our guests and associates is a top priority. Achieving this is a shared responsibility. Please join us in our efforts to enhance the safety of our public spaces by complying with local regulations and wearing a face covering - which is required - whenever you're in public areas of the hotel. We do appreciate your support and understanding. We remind you also to practice social distancing, staying at least 6 feet or 2 meters from other guests and hotel associates.

Element Santa Clara is committed to Guest Safety & Comfort, acting in accordance with all CDC and County guidelines. Modifications include: 

 

  • 1-way designated points of hotel entry and exit.
  • 6-feet social distancing, signage and floor markers posted.
  • Face coverings required in all common areas.
  • Knock and drop amenities.
  • Reduced pool capacity.
  • Elevator use limited to single guest room at a time.

In keeping with Marriott's Commitment to Clean, we have made several enhancements to our cleaning practices throughout our property and in guest rooms. These include:


Enhanced Public Space Cleaning: We have increased the frequency of cleaning and disinfection, particularly in areas with high traffic as well as provided more hand sanitizing stations. 

 

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): Staff members will wear PPE (e.g., face coverings, gloves, etc.) based on the activities they are performing and based on direction by the local authorities. 

 

Electrostatic Spraying: We're utilizing enhanced technologies, including electrostatic sprayers with hospital-grade disinfectants, to support our already rigorous cleanliness protocols. 

 

Disinfectant wipes are available in the guest room for every arriving guest as well as upon request.

 

Modified Housekeeping Service Schedule to minimize contact:

Every guest room is thoroughly cleaned and disinfected prior to your arrival. During your stay, we will not provide housekeeping automatically every day. Our current schedule is noted below:

 

  • 1-3 Night Stay: no service
  • 4-6 Night Stay: serviced once
  • 7+ Nights: serviced twice per week
  • Trash pickup available twice per day - 9 am and 2 pm

We are committed to making the amenities and services at our property available to you while complying with local regulations, including guidance on reducing capacity in public spaces and reinforcing social distancing. The modifications we have made include:

 

  • Fitness Center: Closed.
  • Pool: Open, reduced capacity. Reservations required for entry.
  • Hot tub: Extension of pool.
  • Outdoor Game Lawn: Closed.
  • Bar: Closed.
  • Restaurant: Closed.
  • Indoor Games: Closed.
  • Breakfast: Grab & go, limited menu.
  • Meeting Space: Open, reduced capacity. No food service.
  • Business Center: Open, 1 person at a time.
  • RELAX Reception: Currently unavailable.
  • REST Evening Tea: Currently unavailable.
  • RESTORE Pantry available 24 hours/day. No alcohol sales after 2 AM. Social distancing required.
  • Grab and go breakfast is prepackaged.
  • Food delivery available.
