Providing a safer environment for our guests and associates is a top priority. Achieving this is a shared responsibility. Please join us in our efforts to enhance the safety of our public spaces by complying with local regulations and wearing a face covering -- which is required -- whenever you're in public areas of the property. We do appreciate your support and understanding. We remind you also to practice social distancing, staying at least 6 feet or 2 meters from other guests and associates.
A full spectrum of social distancing guidelines have been implemented throughout each property, including:

  • Altered traffic flow to support 6-foot spacing
  • Removed brochure racks
  • Removed unnecessary furnishings
  • Installation of signage across the property campus to remind Owners, guests, and associates of social distancing requirements.
  • Reduction of seating in common areas, such as lobbies
  • Closure of every other stall in common area restrooms
  • Limitations on occupancy in fitness centers and removal of certain equipment, where applicable.
  • Reductions in pool deck seating, where applicable
  • Continued closure of activities centers and kid's clubs. where applicable
In keeping with Our Next Level of Clean and Marriott's Commitment to Clean, we have made several enhancements to our cleaning practices throughout our property and accommodations. These include:

Enhanced Public Space Cleaning. With increased frequency and enhanced cleaning tools, you'll get a heightened level of clean and health safety throughout shared areas. You will find hand sanitizer stations at high-traffic public spaces like the lobby, front desk, elevator landings, food & beverage entrances and fitness center entrances.

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). All associates will wear PPE (e.g., face coverings, gloves, etc.) based on the activities they are performing and based on direction by the local authorities.

Electrostatic Spraying. We're utilizing enhanced technologies, including electrostatic sprayers with hospital-grade disinfectants, to support our already rigorous cleanliness protocols.

Your Clean Home Away from Home

All of your private vacation spaces now undergo an even more robust regimen of cleaning protocols.

  • Hospital-grade disinfectants are used in every villa/room, before every check-in.
  • Disinfectant wipes are available in the villa/room for every arriving guest as well as upon request.
  • Each villa/room is thoroughly cleaned and disinfected, with particular attention paid to high-touch surfaces, such as light switches, door handles, remote controls, countertops, climate controls, and appliance doors using hospital-grade disinfectants
  • Removal and replacement of all unused linen/terry from villas/rooms
  • Removal and replacement of all unused bathroom amenities, such as soap and shampoo
  • Removal and replacement of all opened paper products, such as toilet and facial tissues
  • In support of continued enhanced public area cleaning, enhanced villa/room departure cleans, and for the health and safety of property associates, daily housekeeping service, such as daily tidies, is currently unavailable.

Official Information
Due to a government order, face coverings are required for all guests and associates when inside hallways and common areas except when an individual is unable to wear a face covering due to a medical condition or disability. Please visit the local government website below for more information for facial covering requirements, etc.

There are travel restrictions in place associated with arrival into the U.S. Virgin Islands for every traveler aged five and older. Every traveler aged five and older is required to use the USVI Travel Screening Portal (http://www.usvitravelportal.com) and submit one of the following COVID-19 test results:

 

  • Present a COVID-19 antigen (molecular/PCR/rapid) test taken and negative result received (both within five days of commencement of travel to the Territory), OR
  • Present a COVID-19 antibody test taken and a positive result received (both within four months of commencement of travel to the Territory).


Upon arrival, travelers must produce the original test result and the travel certification received from the Travel Screening Portal. Travelers unable to produce the required test result will be subject to a mandatory, self-quarantine, per the Department of Health. The self-quarantine period will last for 14 days from the time of entry or until they are able to receive the required test result while in the Territory.

Please note: The recent U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention order, requiring that all aircraft passengers arriving in the United States from a foreign country obtain a test for the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19), does NOT apply to airline passengers arriving in the United States from the U.S. Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico.
