Providing a safer environment for our guests and associates is a top priority. Achieving this is a shared responsibility. Please join us in our efforts to enhance the safety of our public spaces by complying with local regulations, practicing social distancing (staying at least 6 feet or 2 meters from other guests and hotel associates), and wearing face coverings whenever you're in public areas of the hotel. We do appreciate your support and understanding.

At JW Marriott Guanacaste Resort & Spa, we are committed to providing you with high hygiene and cleanliness standards. We have elevated our cleaning practices throughout the entire hotel, which include:

 

  • Signage throughout our hotels to remind guests to maintain social distancing, occupancy limits and seating capacities reductions in our restaurants in compliance with local and state mandates, and partitions installed at front desks and food and beverage service lines.
  • Mobile check-in and key, service requests, and room service orders delivered right to your door via the Marriott Bonvoy™ mobile app.
  • No valet service is currently available for parking.

In keeping with Marriott's Commitment to Clean, we have made several enhancements to our cleaning practices throughout our property and in guest rooms. These include:

 

  • Enhanced Public Space Cleaning: We have increased the frequency of cleaning and disinfection, especially in high-traffic areas like restrooms, elevators, and stairs etc. Furthermore, we will provide hand-sanitizing stations within the public spaces.
  • Guest Rooms: Every guest room is thoroughly cleaned and disinfected between each guest. Each room and Suite has a cleaning service, executed under the highest quality standards and it will be done as often as you determine most convenient, either daily, every two or three days or if you do not wish to receive this service during your stay, we will make sure to honor your request as well. Our housekeeping service is available from 8 AM - 4 PM and will be done while you are out of the room. Please note that our "Make a Green Choice and Turn Down" programs are not available at this time. Please let us know if you prefer that none of our associates enter your room during your stay with us.
  • Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): Associates will wear required PPE based on the activities they are performing. Our guests must wear personal protective face masks in all public areas of the Resort.
  • Room Amenities: In-room coffee makers are not currently available, but guests can request contactless coffee delivery. Disinfectant wipes are available in the room for every arriving guest as well as upon request.

We are committed to making the amenities and services at our property available to you while complying with local regulations, including guidance on reducing capacity in public spaces and reinforcing social distancing. The modifications we have made include:

  • Spa: Open, reservation required.

  • Shuttle: Operating on Normal Schedule

In-Room Dining - Available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. From 10 PM - 7 AM, we will put at your disposal a slightly smaller menu, specially prepared for these hours.

Restaurant Reservations - Reservations for breakfast and dinner times at our Á la Carte Restaurants will be required. We also recommend you to book for lunchtime if possible.
Marriott Bonvoy Member Benefits: We are committed to delivering the Marriott Bonvoy benefits for your membership level. Thank you for your understanding in cases where we may have to offer an alternative.

Marriott Bonvoy members are invited to use the Marriott Bonvoy App (available on the App Store and Google Play) to take advantage of contactless options, including:
 
  • Mobile Check-In/Check-Out: Let us know via the app when you are planning to arrive and once you have departed.
  • Mobile Key: Forgo the front desk altogether and go straight to your guest room.
  • Mobile Dining: Order your private, in-room dining through the app.
  • Mobile Guest Requests: Connect with us via the app to request items you would like delivered to your guest room.

  • Mobile Key: Benefit from a contactless experience by requesting Mobile Key and your phone is your key
