Providing a safer environment for our guests and associates is a top priority. Achieving this is a shared responsibility. Please join us in our efforts to enhance the safety of our public spaces by complying with local regulations, practicing social distancing (staying at least 6 feet or 2 meters from other guests and hotel associates), and wearing face coverings whenever you're in indoor public areas of the hotel. We do appreciate your support and understanding.
A full spectrum of social distancing guidelines have been implemented throughout each property, including:

  • Altered traffic flow to support 6-foot spacing
  • Removed brochure racks
  • Removed unnecessary furnishings
  • Installation of signage across the property campus to remind Owners, guests, and associates of social distancing requirements.
  • Reduction of seating in common areas, such as lobbies
  • Closure of every other stall in common area restrooms
  • Limitations on occupancy in fitness centers and removal of certain equipment, where applicable.
  • Reductions in pool deck seating, where applicable
  • Continued closure of activities centers and kid's clubs. where applicable
In keeping with Our Next Level of Clean and Marriott's Commitment to Clean, we have made several enhancements to our cleaning practices throughout our property and accommodations. These include:

Enhanced Public Space Cleaning. With increased frequency and enhanced cleaning tools, you'll get a heightened level of clean and health safety throughout shared areas. You will find hand sanitizer stations at high-traffic public spaces like the lobby, front desk, elevator landings, food & beverage entrances and fitness center entrances.

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). All associates will wear PPE (e.g., face coverings, gloves, etc.) based on the activities they are performing and based on direction by the local authorities.

Electrostatic Spraying. We're utilizing enhanced technologies, including electrostatic sprayers with hospital-grade disinfectants, to support our already rigorous cleanliness protocols.

Your Clean Home Away from Home

All of your private vacation spaces now undergo an even more robust regimen of cleaning protocols.

  • Hospital-grade disinfectants are used in every villa/room, before every check-in.
  • Disinfectant wipes are available in the villa/room for every arriving guest as well as upon request.
  • Each villa/room is thoroughly cleaned and disinfected, with particular attention paid to high-touch surfaces, such as light switches, door handles, remote controls, countertops, climate controls, and appliance doors using hospital-grade disinfectants
  • Removal and replacement of all unused linen/terry from villas/rooms
  • Removal and replacement of all unused bathroom amenities, such as soap and shampoo
  • Removal and replacement of all opened paper products, such as toilet and facial tissues
  • In support of continued enhanced public area cleaning, enhanced villa/room departure cleans, and for the health and safety of property associates, daily housekeeping service, such as daily tidies, is currently unavailable.

  • Fitness Center - Open daily for Marriott Vacation Club Owners and guests 8 a.m. - 6 p.m.  Only a maximum of 7 persons are allowed and reservations are required. The Fitness Center must be closed every other hour for deep sanitization as per government mandates. Reservations can be made with the Front Desk by dialing "0."
  • Gift shop, Just in the Sun, Liquor Store and Jewelry Store - Open daily 10 a.m. - noon Sundays, Mondays and Wednesdays. Times are subject to change.
  • Golf Course - Royal St. Kitts Golf Club: Open daily from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday through Sunday for local players and international travelers who hav tested negative on the 4th day.  Closed Monday and Tuesday.

St. Kitts Marriott Resort & The Royal Beach Casino

Beginning September 25, 2021, the adjacent St. Kitts Marriott Resort & The Royal Beach Club Casino will close until December 15, 2021. During this time several amenities will be undergoing construction/renovation such as the main pool, Spa, and tennis courts.  Food and Beverage outlets as well as convenience stores will be closed or with limited operation during this time.

 

 

Official Information

Effective January 26, 2021, pursuant to an order of the Director of the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, all aircraft passengers arriving in the United States from a foreign country are required to provide a copy of either: (i) a negative COVID-19 test result from a test taken no more than 3 days before their flight departs for the United States, or (ii) certain documentation of having recovered from COVID-19, to their airline before boarding a flight to the United States. For more information on the testing requirement and specific documentation that is required, please refer to the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention website or contact your airline.


International guests will be required to undergo a health screening when arriving at the St. Kitts airport, including a temperature check and a health questionnaire. In addition, for guests arriving in St. Kitts, permitted activities will vary based on the length of stay in St. Kitts. All travelers must upload the PCR test results taken 72 hours prior to traveling and complete the Travel Authorization Form at http://www.knatravelform.kn. Additional PCR tests for COVID-19 may be required during your stay in St. Kitts. Requirements are subject to change, and travelers are encouraged to visit the St. Kitts Tourism Authority's website for the most current information.

 

Only fully vaccinated travelers are presently allowed into the country, with exemptions considered for citizens and residents. Please visit the following link for the Prime Minister's statement.

Testing facilities

To assist our Owners and guests with the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention pre-testing requirement associated with travel to the U.S., we are happy to provide a list of available testing facilities in the local area. Please contact the property directly for this information. Please note that one of the available testing facilities is located within the resort complex, for your convenience in the event that the use of the testing facility will meet the test and timing requirements necessary for your travel. IMPORTANT: All testing facilities do have an additional cost for testing services, are subject to availability, and are not affiliated with the resort.

 

 

Construction Notices

  • All three pools are currently undergoing renovations. Work will take place on a rotation basis of one pool at a time. The North Pool at the St. Kitts Marriott Resort remains closed, however, and the Main Pool is currently undergoing renovations through December 2021.
  • The site will be undergoing a sliding glass door project through December 12, 2021. All sliding glass doors will be replaced during this time and buildings will be completed on a rotational basis. Availability of villa preferences may be limited as a result of this project.

 

 

General Property Updates

  • Please note that while the beach in front of the resort remains open, Sargassum seaweed is currently prevalent in the area.
  • Marriott's St. Kitts Beach Club has been certified as Travel Approved by the government of St. Kitts and Nevis. Click here for more details.
  • Room service currently remains available from the St. Kitts Marriott Resort for Owners and guests at Marriott's St. Kitts Beach Club.  Room Service available from 8:00 a.m - 10:00 p.m.

 

Casino

Casino will be open Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 6 p.m. to midnight.  Following your 4-day "vacation in place" COVID-19 test is taken, your green band will give you access to the Casino based on restrictions and regulations. Times are subject to change.

 

Shuttle Service

A complimentary shuttle is offered twice per week to selected alternative beaches as a result of seaweed and is subject to change based on beach conditions.  Only guests who have passed their 4-day quarantine test will be allowed to leave the resort.
