Now it's time to kick it up a notch. As part of Marriott International's family of brands, we have implemented a multi-pronged approach to meet the health and safety requirements of our "Commitment to Clean" standards.

We have further raised our already diligent cleaning standards and protocols, while making some tweaks to our services, amenities, and facilities available during your stay.

So here is what you can expect from your stay at Aloft, in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Providing a safer environment for our guests and associates is a top priority. Achieving this is a shared responsibility. Please join us in our efforts to enhance the safety of our public spaces by complying with local regulations, practicing social distancing and wearing face coverings whenever you're in indoor public areas of the hotel. We do appreciate your support and understanding.

Due to the Corona Protection Ordinance valid in Baden-Wuerttemberg, your stay is permitted with proof of the following documents (digital or written form) together with a photo identification document (identity card, passport).

  • Vaccinated - Vaccinated - proof of a complete vaccination against COVID-19 completed at least 14 days prior to your arrival date at the hotel, by presentation of the vaccination certificate with a vaccine licensed in the European Union (currently BioNTech, Moderna, Astra Zeneca, Johnson & Johnson).
  • Recovered - proof of a positive test result (PCR, PoC-PCR) at least 28 days and not more than six months ago prior to your arrival date at the hotel. 
  • Tested - proof of a negative lateral flow test which is not older than 24 hours or the proof of a negative PCR test which is not older than 48 hours at the time of your check in at the hotel. This test must be proven by a digital or written document from a testing centre. Follow up tests must be presented independently at reception every 72 hours. 


Signage throughout our hotel to remind guests to maintain social distancing, occupancy limits e.g. and seating capacities reductions in public areas apply in compliance with local government regulations and state mandates. Wearing a face mask in all public areas of the hotel is required for associates and guests, except for associates working behind installed partitions at front desks.

Mobile check-in, mobile key and service requests via the Marriott Bonvoy™ mobile app. All room keys are sanitized after every guest use while pens, pads, desk area as well as credit card machines are regularly sanitized. Disinfectant wipes are available at every check-in counter.

Ventilation and airflow management in guest rooms: During guest room cleaning, windows will be opened to allow an exchange of air. We recommend ventilating the guest room frequently during your stay. All of our conference rooms have direct access to fresh air via windows and allow additional ventilation. In all other public spaces our ventilation units run at all times absorbing stale air for fresh air to reduce aerosols.

In keeping with Marriott's Commitment to Clean, we have made several enhancements to our cleaning practices throughout our property and in guest rooms.


  • We have increased the frequency of public space cleaning and disinfection, particularly in areas with high traffic including restrooms and elevators.
  • Hand sanitizers located at critical locations all throughout the hotel.
  • Routine cleaning and sanitization is in place for higher frequented areas, such as handrails, doorknobs, restrooms, or elevator buttons.
  • Staff members will wear PPE, e.g. face coverings or working behind installed partitions. Guests are required to wear face coverings in all public areas of the hotel.
  • We're utilizing enhanced technologies, including electrostatic sprayers with hospital-grade disinfectants, to support our already rigorous cleanliness protocols.
  • Room Amenities have been adjusted - all unnecessary objects from the room have been removed to allow as minimal "touching" of common items as possible and have been exchanged with e.g. single use cups.

Every guest room is thoroughly cleaned and disinfected prior to your arrival. We will provide housekeeping cleaning services after your third night with us and while you are away from the room. If you'd like to receive additional daily cleaning, simply let our team know and we will gladly take care of it.

We are committed to making the amenities and services at our property available to you while complying with local regulations, including guidance on reducing capacity in public spaces and reinforcing physical distancing. The modifications we have made include:


  • Fitness Center: Open. A mask is required. The mask may only be removed if a sporting activity is being carried out.
W XYZ Bar: Please note that our W XYZ Bar is temporarily closed. We offer drinks in our Re: Mix Lounge on request.

Breakfast: A continental breakfast is served in form of a buffet. We would like to ask all guests to disinfect their hands and use gloves provided while you help yourself at the breakfast buffet. Please also note that wearing a mask is mandatory in all public areas.

Re: fuel Grab & Go Shop: Snacks and drinks are available 24/7 in our Re: fuel Grab & Go Shop. All snacks are pre-packaged during events.

Lunch and dinner: numerous options are available in the immediate vicinity of the hotel in the Milaneo Shopping Center, as well as in the nearby city center of Stuttgart. Feel free to ask us for recommendations at any time.

In accordance with the latest instructions from the state government of Baden-Württemberg, we have adapted the capacities, processes and mandatory conditions for conferences and events.

The organizer undertakes to inform his guests to stay away from the event as a precaution if symptoms of illness (primarily of the respiratory tract) occur. The organizer also undertakes to inform its guests that participants who have had contact with a Corona-positive person within the last two weeks will stay away from the event as a precaution. Group and event guests must be fully registered by name and contact address via the organizer in order to be able to trace a possible chain of infection (preservation of the retention period of four weeks, afterwards a secure deletion takes place in accordance with the applicable EU data protection guidelines by the organizer). The organizer undertakes to inform its guests that participants who return within the last two weeks before the event from one of the countries that the Robert Koch Institute has declared as a so-called risk country are excluded from participating in the event.

All snacks during events are offered in the form of "Grab & Go" meals (packaged) to reduce the risk of contamination. The seating arrangements in the conference area are at least 1.5 meters away from the next participant. All frequently used surfaces in the conference area are disinfected regularly and there are hand disinfectant dispensers in all washrooms and in front of each conference room.
Our hotel has a hygiene officer who coordinates and constantly updates all event concepts and hotel hygiene measures. All of our employees and partner companies receive ongoing hygienic training (for example: hand hygiene, sneeze labels, correct wearing of mouth and nose cover, room cleaning and cleaning of public areas, HACCP training, updated hotel hygiene measures). All employees must wear a face mask in all public areas of the hotel and in the kitchen.
