Providing a safer environment for our guests and associates is a top priority. Achieving this is a shared responsibility. Please join us in our efforts to enhance the safety of our public spaces by complying with local regulations, practicing social distancing (staying at least 6 feet or 2 meters from other guests and hotel associates), and wearing face coverings whenever you’re in public areas of the hotel. We do appreciate your support and understanding.
  • Signage throughout our hotel will remind guests to maintain social distancing with occupancy limits and revised seating capacities in our restaurants, fitness and spa areas in compliance with Thai Government guidance.
  • The use of face mask is mandatory for all guests and employees, and the masks are provided free of charge (in-room amenity).
  • Hand sanitizer stations are available in high-traffic areas.
  • No valet service is currently available.

In keeping with Marriott's Commitment to Clean, we have made several enhancements to our cleaning practices throughout our property and in guest rooms. These include:

Enhanced Public Space Cleaning: We have increased the frequency of cleaning and disinfection, particularly in areas with high traffic and high touch points including restrooms, elevators, and door knobs as well as provided hand sanitizing stations.

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): All staff members are required to wear PPE (e.g., face coverings, gloves, etc.) based on the activities they are performing and based on direction by the local authorities. All vendors and employees entering the building are getting temperature checks.

Electrostatic Spraying: We're utilizing enhanced technologies, including electrostatic sprayers with hospital-grade disinfectants, to support our already rigorous cleanliness protocols.

Guest Room and Amenities: Every guest room is thoroughly cleaned and disinfected prior to your arrival. Disinfectant wipes are available in the room for every arriving guest. Key Cards: Key card is thoroughly cleaned and disinfected.

Mini Bar: After each guests' checkout, our housekeeping staff will clean and disinfect each items in the mini bar thoroughly.

All pools are regularly disinfected to ensure cleanliness.

We are committed to making the amenities and services at our property available to you while complying with local regulations, including guidance on reducing capacity in public spaces and reinforcing social distancing. The modifications we have made include:


  • Fitness: Available 24 hours, limited capacity of 2 persons per time for 1.5 hours. Hand sanitizing station available for all visitors.
  • Quan Spa: Open daily from 10:00 AM - 8:00 PM, advance reservation required.
  • Pools: Open daily from 07:00 AM - 7:00 PM

The SHA certification for Renaissance Koh Samui Resort & Spa is in addition to the Marriott’s Commitment to Cleanliness that complies fully with World Health Organization: WHO directives and local health authorities.
