Providing a safer environment for our guests and associates is a top priority. Achieving this is a shared responsibility. Please join us in our efforts to enhance the safety of our public spaces by complying with local regulations, practicing social distancing and wearing face coverings whenever you're in indoor public areas of the hotel. We do appreciate your support and understanding.
Signage throughout our hotels to remind guests to maintain social distancing, occupancy limits and seating capacities reductions in our Café Imperial Wien, Restaurant OPUS and our bar as well as in our banquet venues in compliance with local and state mandates, and partitions installed at front desks and Imperial Torte Boutique.

Mobile check-in/check-out, service requests are available via the Marriott Bonvoy™ mobile app.

No valet service is currently available for parking.

In keeping with Marriott's Commitment to Clean, we have made several enhancements to our cleaning practices throughout our property and in guest rooms. These include:


Enhanced Public Space Cleaning: We have increased the frequency of cleaning and disinfection, particularly in areas with high traffic including restrooms, elevators, and escalators as well as provided more hand sanitizing stations.


Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): Staff members will wear PPE (e.g., face coverings, gloves, etc.) based on the activities they are performing and based on direction by the local authorities. Guests are required to wear face coverings based on direction by the local authorities. Appropriate disposable masks are also available to our guests upon request.


Electrostatic Spraying: We're utilizing enhanced technologies, including electrostatic sprayers with hospital-grade disinfectants, to support our already rigorous cleanliness protocols.


Room Amenities: Welcome amenities have been reconsidered and are in compliance with hygiene standards. Upon arrival, guests receive a welcome amenity including hand sanitizers and face masks. Disinfectant wipes are available in the rooms for all arriving guests as well as upon request. The minibar is supplied with hygienic cups to-go and all minibar items are regularly disinfected.


Guest Rooms: Every guest room is thoroughly cleaned and disinfected prior to your arrival. Furthermore, we are committing ourselves to keep the rooms vacant for at least 24-hours before arrival. We will provide housekeeping cleaning services after your third night with us and while you are away from the room. If you would like to receive additional daily cleaning, simply let our team know and we will gladly take care of it. If you have any other specific housekeeping preferences or would like to not receive housekeeping service during your stay, please contact guest services at any time.

We are committed to making the amenities and services at our property available to you while complying with local regulations, including guidance on reducing capacity in public spaces and reinforcing social distancing. The modifications we have made include:


Fitness Center & Sauna Area: 
Entrance upon registration at Front Desk, disinfection after each guest, masks are not required.
Access to Sauna is upon registration and is limited to one person or two people living in the same household.


COVID-19 / SARS COV-2 testing options:


Testing directly in the hotel:

  • Testing is done directly in the comfort of your hotel room by the laboratory assistant from our partner ViroTrust. Our concierge team supports you with making an appointment for your preferred test, min. 3 hours in advance
  • Following tests are possible: SARS-CoV-2 PCR, Antigen Test, Antibody Test, Test for the children
  • Results will be sent via email latest within 3 hours after the testing, depending on the kind of the test

Getting tested outside the hotel:

  • Testing is done at the external company FastTest, just 6 min. walking from the hotel
  • No reservation needed, but with possible waiting time (max. 5-10 min.)
  • Following tests are possible: SARS-CoV-2 PCR
  • Results will be sent via E-Mail latest within 1 hour after the test
