The safety of our guests and associates is a top priority. As guidance regarding face coverings and vaccination verification varies by local jurisdiction and may change, guests should review public information websites for the most up-to-date guidance for your destination, as well as the hotel-specific sections below and US and Canada Travel Advisories | Marriott Bonvoy™ before traveling. Unless it is required by local law or order, fully vaccinated guests are no longer required to wear face coverings or social distance in indoor or outdoor areas of the hotel. We ask that all unvaccinated guests continue to wear face coverings and practice social distancing when they are in public spaces inside the hotel.

In keeping with Marriott's Commitment to Clean, we have made several enhancements to our cleaning practices throughout our property and in guest rooms. These include:

Enhanced Public Space Cleaning: We have increased the frequency of cleaning and disinfection, particularly in areas with high traffic including restrooms, elevators, and escalators as well as provided more hand sanitizing stations throughout the hotel

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): Staff members will wear PPE (e.g., face coverings, gloves, etc.) based on the activities they are performing and based on direction by the local authorities. Guests are required to wear personal face coverings.

Electrostatic Spraying: We're utilizing enhanced technologies, including electrostatic sprayers with hospital-grade disinfectants, to support our already rigorous cleanliness protocols. ( we are still waiting to receive this)

Room Amenities:
  • Removed all high-touch decorative items within guest room that cannot be cleaned or sanitized after guest each guest stay
  • Reduce associate room entry during stay (housekeeping, in-room dining, etc.)
  • Utilization of EPA-approved cleaning & disinfecting agents that kill the COVID-19 virus
  • Provide guest sanitation kits to guests upon check-in.
  • In-room coffee makers are not currently available, but guests can request contactless coffee delivery
  • Disinfectant wipes are available in the room for every arriving guest as well as upon request

Every guest room is thoroughly cleaned and disinfected prior to your arrival. During your stay, we will not provide housekeeping automatically every day. If you wish to receive daily housekeeping refresh service, please let us our guest services team know. We will be happy to make schedule service according to your preferences. Please note that if you are staying with us a bit longer, we will automatically clean your guest room after every 6th night.

We are committed to making the amenities and services at our property available to you while complying with local regulations, including guidance on reducing capacity in public spaces and reinforcing social distancing. The modifications we have include:


  • Urban Bean: Open - 6am - 10am and 5pm - 9pm Daily - Grab and Go Items only
  • 1919 Kitchen + Bar: Closed
  • Signature Club Lounge: Closed
  • In room dining: Closed
  • Waterworks: Weekdays -5pm - 10pm, Weekends 9am - 12pm and 5pm - 9pm
  • Fitness Center: Closed.
  • Damara Spa: Open limited hours reservations required.


  • Urban Bean: Open - 6am - 10am and 5pm - 9pm Daily
  • 1919 Kitchen + Bar: Closed
  • Signature Club Lounge: Closed
  • Room Service: Not Available

  • Partitions and social distancing signage in place
  • Preshift Temperature reading taken
  • Regularly and thoroughly cleaning hands with an alcohol-based hand sanitizer or by washing them with soap and water
  • All staff are required to wear appropiate PPE during their shift
  • Hard surfaces and shared equipment is disinfected between every associate and guest use or every 2 hours as well as at the beginning and end of each shift
  • Associates wear gloves when preparing and serving food

Further Measures

  • Furniture is disinfected after every meal period; and all tables and chairs are disinfected between customers.
  • Disinfect all food preparation tables nightly and rinse in the morning.

Our meeting experts will work with our clients from Pre Event Planning through to Post Event to ensure a safe and seamless event

We have elevated our cleaning standards in our meetings and events spaces to address the unique challenges presented by COVID-19:


  • All meeting rooms will be sanitized and disinfected before and after each time that they are used
  • All Associates will wear masks, practice social distancing and adhere to frequent hand washing
  • We adhere to local social distancing requirements for all meeting room setups and gathering sizes
  • Signage will be visible to remind all event attendees the importance of social distancing
  • Use linen-less tables when possible
  • Increased cleaning and disinfection of high traffic areas
  • Hand Sanitizer stations available in all public areas and in each meeting room
  • Our AV Partner PSAV is focused on cleanliness and sanitation and has launched MeetSAFE Guidelines
  • All meeting rooms will have further enhanced cleaning with an Electrostatic Sprayer
  • Outside Vendors must sanitize all equipment entering the hotel.

Food and Beverage

  • Modified and customizable menus featuring fresh individually wrapped or individually wrapped food choices
