The safety of our guests and associates is a top priority. As guidance regarding face coverings and vaccination verification varies by local jurisdiction and may change, guests should review public information websites for the most up-to-date guidance for your destination, as well as the hotel-specific sections below and US and Canada Travel Advisories | Marriott Bonvoy™ before traveling. Unless it is required by local law or order, fully vaccinated guests are no longer required to wear face coverings or social distance in indoor or outdoor areas of the hotel. We ask that all unvaccinated guests continue to wear face coverings and practice social distancing when they are in public spaces inside the hotel.

The following measures have been taken to ensure a safe and healthy experience:

 

  • Signage is posted throughout our hotel to remind guests to maintain social distancing.
  • Seating capacity reductions in our banquet space have been implemented in compliance with local and provincial mandates.
  • Partitions have been installed at Front Desk and in our F&B take out area.
  • Hydroalcoholic disinfectant gel will be provided throughout the hotel.
  • The use of face masks is mandatory for all guests; face masks can be provided free of charge to guests upon request. Face masks will still be worn by all hotel staff and associates.
  • There will be no valet service available for parking at this time.
  • Mobile check-in and key, service requests, and room service orders delivered right to your door via the Marriott Bonvoy™ mobile app.

In keeping with Marriott's Commitment to Clean, we have made several additional enhancements to our cleaning practices throughout our property and in guest rooms. These include:

 

  •  Housekeeping Service: Every guest room is thoroughly cleaned and disinfected prior to your arrival. During your stay, we will not provide housekeeping automatically every day. If you wish to receive housekeeping refresh service, please let our guest services team know. We will be happy to schedule service according to your preferences.
  • Enhanced Public Space Cleaning: We have increased the frequency of cleaning and disinfection, particularly in areas with high traffic including restrooms, elevators as well as provided more hand sanitizing stations.
  • Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): Staff members will wear PPE (e.g., face coverings, gloves, etc.) based on the activities they are performing and based on direction by the local authorities. Guests are required to wear personal face coverings in indoor public settings. We provide face masks free of charge to guests.
  • Electrostatic Spraying: We're utilizing enhanced technologies, including electrostatic sprayers with hospital-grade disinfectants, to support our already rigorous cleanliness protocols.
  • Room Amenities: Disinfectant wipes are available in the room for every arriving guest as well as upon request.
  • Shuttle Buses: We have increased the frequency of cleaning and disinfection, particularly in high touch areas of our shuttle buses.  All of our buses are disinfected at least once per hour and additionally electrostatic sprayers are used nightly with hospital-grade disinfectants.

We are committed to making the amenities and services at our property available to you while complying with local regulations, including guidance on reducing capacity in public spaces and reinforcing social distancing. The modifications we have made include:

 

  • Fitness Centre: Open 24-hours. Wipes are provided for sanitization of all equipment used.
  • Pool: Open daily, 8:00 AM to 11:00 PM.

 

Proof of vaccination will not be required to enter the fitness centre or pool.

 

  • Meeting/Banquet Space: All meeting and function space is open and available to book. In compliance with all local and provincial regulations, indoor organized seated gatherings can have a capacity of 50 people or 50% seated capacity, whichever is greater. 
  • Airport Shuttle: Our 24-hour shuttle service is provided to and from the Vancouver International Airport. Please contact the Hotel upon arrival or with your departure information for pick up and drop off. Marriott BonvoyTM members, please refer to the shuttle Tracker on your app to get live updates to the shuttle location. You are required to wear a mask inside the shuttle bus and throughout the duration of your ride.
  • Sheraton Club Lounge: Currently closed.
  • Business Centre: Currently closed.
  • Harold's Kitchen & Bar: Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, 7 days a week, 6:30 AM to 10:00 PM. All guests can dine indoors or outdoors on the patio (weather permitting). All staff members are required to wear face masks. Tables and chairs are sanitized between each seating.

 

Guests are required to wear a mask upon entry to the hotel and to Harold's. As of September 13, 2021, guests must show proof of vaccination along with valid government ID. From September 13-26, guests will be able to use the vaccination records they received at B.C. vaccine clinics or pharmacies as valid proof of vaccination. Guests from outside of B.C. will need to show appropriate ID and their proof of vaccination to be allowed entry into Harold's. Visually verifying this information will be sufficient for access to Harold's. As of October 24, individuals must be fully vaccinated (having received their second dose at least 7 days prior) to gain entry into Harold's Kitchen & Bar.

 

  • Room service is available from 6:30 AM to 10:00 PM.
  • Starbucks Café is currently closed.

  • Mobile Check-In/Check-Out. Let us know via the app when you are planning to arrive and once you departed.
  • Mobile Key. Forgo the front desk altogether and go straight to your guest room
  • Mobile Dining. Order your private, in-room dining through the app.
  • Mobile Guest Requests. Connect with us via the app to request items you would like delivered to your guest room.
